    Yesterday, history was made. I was incredibly proud to see the be ratified by the Illinois State legislature. This is a huge win for women and men across the state and I’m so honored to have been a part of it.

    I've seen a few stories about the lately, and one part I don't get is would not the equality clause of the 14th already do that? I suppose specific language is a plus but I also don't want repetition.
