Nick Falloon

Mr Falloon became Domain’s Executive Chairman in January 2018. He was previously the company’s Chairman and Non-Executive Director.

Mr Falloon is the current Chairman of the Fairfax Media Board, and has had 30 years’ experience in the media industry, 19 years working for the Packer owned media interests from 1982 until 2001.

Mr Falloon served as Chief Executive Officer of Publishing and Broadcasting Limited from 1998 to 2001 and before that as Chief Executive Officer of Enterprises and Group Financial Director. This experience provided a strong background in television, pay TV, magazines, radio and the internet. From 2002, Mr Falloon spent nine years as Executive Chairman and CEO of Ten Network Holdings.

Mr Falloon holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) from Waikato University in New Zealand.

Rob Doyle

Chief Financial Officer

Rob joined Fairfax Media in April 2013 and was appointed CFO of Domain in 2017. While the Group General Manager of Finance for Fairfax Media, he was responsible for Group Planning and Analysis, Business Analytics, Finance Systems, Finance Operations, Process Excellence and Group Procurement activities. Prior to joining Fairfax Media, Rob had 15 years of experience at Vodafone Group in the UK and Vodafone Hutchison Australia, and prior to that was an auditor at Kingston Smith in London.

Rob holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Southampton and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Tony Blamey

Chief Product and Customer Experience Officer

Tony joined Fairfax Media in 2003 and was appointed Chief Product & Customer Experience Officer of Domain Group in December 2017. He has responsibility for Product Development, Sales Operations and Customer Experience across the group.

Before this, Tony held a number of senior roles within the Fairfax Media and Domain businesses, including Chief Commercial Officer of Domain, General Manager of Domain, General Manager of MyCareer, Sales Director MyCareer and National Manager of AdOnline. At Domain, Tony was instrumental in leading the Domain business through digital transformation having played a pivotal role in bringing together the first integrated online and print teams.

Prior to joining Fairfax Media, Tony previously held senior sales management roles at Lawlex – an online regulatory publisher and compliance management business. His media career commenced at Yellow Pages where he was involved with many of the early internet directory and search engine products.

Tony holds a BS (Agricultural Science) from the University of Melbourne.

Melina Cruickshank

Chief Editorial & Marketing Officer, Domain Group

Melina joined Domain in 2015 and has almost 20 years experience leading teams across product, marketing and editorial in both London and Sydney.

Melina leads the national Content and Audience division at Domain Group and is responsible for the group’s brand, consumer engagement and customer marketing.  Melina has significant experience in growing and commercialising digital audiences via a mobile-first customer approach and her background in digital media covers time in e-commerce, agency and digital publishing.

Most recently, Melina was Group Director at Fairfax Media leading the product and commercial content division that launched digital brands Traveller, Daily Life, Executive Style and Good Food.

Melina holds a BA (Hons) from Monash University and Grad Diploma from Birkbeck University of London.

Graeme Plowman

Chief Operating Officer

Graeme joined Fairfax Media in October 2010 and leads strategy, corporate development and business planning for Domain. He has played a leading role in defining Domain’s growth strategy during the past four years, as well as overseeing acquisitions and investments. Graeme has 18 years’ experience in strategic and commercial roles, primarily within the media and telecommunications sectors. Before moving to Sydney in 2010, he was a strategy consultant for Deloitte in London. Prior to this, he performed a range of strategy and commercial roles at BT Group in the UK.

Graeme holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA (Hons) in Economics with French from the University of Durham.

Mark Cohen

Chief Technology Officer

Mark joined Fairfax Media in 2003 and in March 2015 was appointed Chief Technology Officer of Domain. In his role, he works with the executive leadership team to develop products and services and manages technology across the group. He is responsible for improving Domain’s technology and systems, driving agile delivery, cloud adoption and evolving microservice architectures.

Prior to this, Mark was General Manager of Product Solutions at Fairfax Media, where he headed up a team of approximately 200 with technical responsibility for Fairfax’s Australian and New Zealand digital product development, and ownership of shared products such as membership, digital subscription platforms and custom advertising solutions.

Mark holds a BS (Computer Science and Applied Mathematics) from University of the Witwatersrand.

Tom Ainsworth

Chief Sales Officer

Tom is a sales and digital marketing expert and strong leader who works with real estate agents and his team to empower and help them achieve their most important goals. He believes that people are the highest priority in business and has deep, long-term relationships with key agents across Australia. Tom has more than 17 years’ experience in the real estate industry and an informed international perspective having worked in the United Kingdom, USA and Australia.

Prior to joining Domain Group, Tom was Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at real estate media and technology company realtor.com in Silicon Valley and before that was Head of Sales at REA Group (realestate.com.au) which is a multinational digital advertising company specialising in property.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University.

Catriona McGregor

Group General Counsel & Company Secretary

Catriona joined Domain Group in December 2017 from Fairfax Media and has advised Domain and Fairfax in various capacities for over four years. Catriona is responsible for the legal and regulatory compliance of the Domain Group.

Catriona has extensive corporate M&A, corporate advisory and commercial experience both in Australia and overseas. In addition to her role at Fairfax, Catriona has operated in legal counsel roles at Asda (Walmart Group), Standard Life and Royal Bank of Scotland. Catriona commenced her legal career in the UK before moving to Herbert Smith Freehills in Sydney in 2012.

Catriona has a law degree with honours from the University of Glasgow and has also studied at the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands and the University of Sydney. She is dual qualified in NSW and Scotland and is a registered notary public in the UK.

Simon Kent

Group Director (Domain Media & Developers)

Simon joined Domain in January 2014 as Group Director, Domain Media & Developers. He leads the media and property developer sales teams, as well as transaction services across Domain.

He has 15 years’ experience in senior sales management roles across leading media organisations. Simon was most recently Managing Director, APAC for innovative data technology start-up Standard Media Index. As well as rapidly growing the Australian business he led their expansion into the New Zealand market partnering with Media Agencies and Publishers to create the first industry-led data pool.

Prior to that he spent 8 years in various senior roles at Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) leading the agency sales team in Melbourne before relocating to Sydney.

Pooyan Asgari

Chief Data Officer

Pooyan oversees Data, Analytics, BI and AI for the group. Pooyan has 15 years’ experience in the Business Intelligence, Data Science and Machine Learning fields. Pooyan’s team (a group of skilled data scientists, data analysts data engineers) major focus is to provide seamless access to data and analytics across the group and support teams to solve their complex problems with the help of data. Pooyan’s team also actively provide cutting edge AI and BI solutions to internal and external stakeholders.

The team has played a major role in transforming Domain to an agile data-driven business in the past few years. Before joining Domain in 2014, Pooyan was Director of Analytical Products for HLA Global, working with a number of high-profile health care organisation such as Cancer Council of Australia and centre of disease control (CDC) in the United States to build cutting edge AI solutions for the medical sector.

Pooyan has a Bachelor of Software Engineering from Tehran Azad University, a Master in Information Technology from Macquarie University and PhD in machine learning and natural language processing (IT) from the University of Sydney.

Beryl Truong

Group Director, Employee Experience

Beryl joined Domain in October 2017 as Group Director, Employee Experience. She partners with the Executive Leadership Team to create engaging, purposeful and fulfilling experiences for the employee talent at Domain throughout their journey.

Beryl has more than 20 years’ experience in blue-chip media, tech, financial services organisations in both Australia and Asia. She has held several senior HR leadership roles with complex regional portfolios across Asia Pacific, including leading the Talent Attraction team for Apple (Australia & South East Asia), as APAC HR Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for Oracle and as Director of Global Mobility for Thomson Reuters in Asia, based in Singapore.

Prior to that, Beryl was the Head of HR for the Australian & NZ operations at Reuters, the world’s leading news and financial services agency. She was instrumental in leading a significant company change transformation program that established five multilingual, Asia-Pacific hubs for sales, service, tech and operations in Sydney, covering 18 languages across multiple time zones.

Beryl started her HR career at Qantas Airways where she spent seven years managing employee relations, HR programs, and was a pioneer in implementing one of the first corporate HR Intranets in Australia.

Beryl holds a double degree (BSc) in Psychology and Nutrition from the University of Wollongong, studied Employment Relations at the University of Technology Sydney and is trained as a professional counsellor and mediator.
