John Battsek convincing people to fund Crude John Battsek convincing people to fund Crude McLibel finally made it onto BBC2 a few weeks back - a mere ten years since I started - which ramped up the Spanner Films publicity 10000% and meant we today sold our 100th Crude share, I mean, loan. Bizarrely, we had loads of people contacting us from Denmark, after an article about our cunning funding scheme was printed in a newspaper over there. (God knows where they got the info from or what the article said. Anyone speak Danish?)
