Funded by the European Union, the Enhanced Rural Resilience in Yemen is a three-year joint programme implemented by four Participating UN Organizations, namely Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO), International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and World Food Programme (WFP).
With funding from USAID and in partnership with SMEPS in Yemen we help farmers in restoring their assets by bringing technology to those affected by war
UNDP has partnered with the Social Fund for Development (SFD) to implement USAID-funded Yemen Emergency Crisis Response Project (YECRP) to create employment opportunities, restore delivery of key health and education services, and revive the agriculture sector, thereby building the resilience of vulnerable local households and communities amidst Yemen ongoing crisis.
As part of Enhanced Rural Resilience in Yemen Joint Programme funded by EU and implemented by FAO, ILO, UNDP and WFP, UNDP in Yemen is providing help restoring basic services to war-affected communities through enabling Village Cooperative Councils.
This paper presents the results of the market assessment in the districts of Crater, Mualla, and Tawahi in the city of Aden. This assessment aimed to determine the market gaps and the opportunities available for emerging microenterprises by women and youth, in addition to the most important challenges and threats that face small and micro-enterprises.
