As the ‘Brussels Conference on Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region’ opens, UN Chiefs are calling urgently for increased support for vulnerable Syrians, refugees and the communities hosting them.
The conference aims to stimulate dialogue and nurture the debate on women's political rights issues, the development of mechanisms to strengthen their participation in decision-making posts, and the enhancement of women’s contribution to local development through projects, programs and actions carried out on the ground for the sake of a quality public service.
