So, this is an entry for Digital Extreme's Warframe "Tenno Tunes Vol. 2" contest. If you don't play Warframe, don't worry too much about what it's about, I just hope you enjoy listening.
The initial idea behind the song comes from a sentiment I've seen from many players regarding the Lotus: even though she's guided us, she's also hid things from us. Potentially she's hiding other things from the Tenno, and no one really knows too much about her (it's only through circumstance that we come to find out snippets of her past).
This, however, evolved into a question regarding Tenno existence- maybe something answered within game, and maybe some lore slipped from my mind- but the question of the Tenno's past wound up becoming the focus of this song (haha focus, get it? ha wow). We know about some things, but not really how or why they were in the circumstances that caused them to become Tenno.
This song focuses on one potential Tenno (of which there could be many) post Second Dream quest, who is seeking the answers seemingly forgotten.

The window for public commentary [COMMENT HERE A.S.A.P.] and opposition expires April 30, 2007, leaving almost no time to inform the populace or debate the seemingly absurd treatment of public health-- which hands over a monopoly to the big-pharma industrial complex and criminalizes natural treatments of all kinds.
Here's the summation from Mike Adams of News Target: When it comes to health freedom, this is the FDA's end game. A new FDA "guidance" document, published on the FDA's website, reveals plans to reclassify virtually all vitamins, supplements, herbs and even vegetable juices as FDA-regulated drugs. Massage oils and massage rocks will be classified as "medical devices" and require FDA approval. The document is called Docket No. 2006D-0480. Draft Guidance for Industry on Complementary and Alternative Medicine [CAM] Products and Their Regulation by the Food and Drug Administration. And now, with this CAM Products Regulation effort, the FDA is about to deal a final, fatal blow to the alternative medicine industry, outlawing nutritional supplements, functional foods, homeopathy and natural therapies all at once.
The legislation is largely a "harmonization" with the World Health Organization's CODEX Alimentarius, which on the surface establishes standardized food guidelines to ensure. Docket Number 2006D-0480 would forced into effect by December 31, 2009 all types of frightful practices in the name of food sanitation and reliable food supply: 1. Codex Alimentarius requires that all meats, poultry, fish, fruit and vegetables must be irradiated by Dec. 31, 2009. 2. Codex Alimentarius requires that all dairy cattle are to be given Monsanto bovine growth hormone by Dec. 31, 2009. 3. Codex Alimentarius reclassifies vitamin and mineral supplements as toxins and dramatically limits their dosage and availability. 4. Many nations have already harmonized their laws with Codex Alimentarius making it their de facto law. This has already been approved by the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and others. 5. Codex Alimentarius allows significant trade sanctions to be levied against noncompliant nations. 6. In 2005 there were five bills submitted to congress to weaken or eliminate DSHEA.
Simular regulation was attempted in 1992, but rejected after public outcry turned the tide. Hopefully a halting response will surface in enough time to stop this new attempt to restrict even basic rights to natural products.

Codex
A codex (from the Latin caudex for "trunk of a tree" or block of wood, book; plural codices) is a book constructed of a number of sheets of paper, vellum, papyrus, or similar materials, with hand-written content. The book is usually bound by stacking the pages and fixing one edge, and using a cover thicker than the sheets. Some codices are continuously folded like a concertina. The alternative to paged codex format for a long document is the continuous scroll. Examples of folded codices include the Maya codices. Sometimes people use the term for a book-style format, including modern printed books but excluding folded books.
The Romans developed the form from wooden writing tablets. The codex's gradual replacement of the scroll—the dominant book form in the ancient world—has been called the most important advance in book making before the invention of printing. The codex transformed the shape of the book itself, and offered a form that lasted for centuries. The spread of the codex is often associated with the rise of Christianity, which adopted the format for use with the Bible early on. First described by the 1st-century AD Roman poet Martial, who praised its convenient use, the codex achieved numerical parity with the scroll around AD 300, and had completely replaced it throughout the now Christianised Greco-Roman world by the 6th century.

Codex Alimentarius
The Codex Alimentarius (Latin for "Book of Food") is a collection of internationally recognized standards, codes of practice, guidelines, and other recommendations relating to foods, food production, and food safety.
Its name is derived from the Codex Alimentarius Austriacus. Its texts are developed and maintained by the Codex Alimentarius Commission, a body that was established in early November 1961 by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), was joined by the World Health Organization (WHO) in June 1962, and held its first session in Rome in October 1963. The Commission's main goals are to protect the health of consumers and ensure fair practices in the international food trade. The Codex Alimentarius is recognized by the World Trade Organization as an international reference point for the resolution of disputes concerning food safety and consumer protection.
As of 2012, there were the 186 members of the Codex Alimentarius Commission: 186 member countries and one member organization, the European Union (EU). There were 215 Codex observers: 49 intergovernmental organizations, 150 non-governmental organizations, and 16 United Nations organizations.

Chaos (Warhammer)
In Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 fictional universes, Chaos refers to the malevolent entities which live in a different timespace, known as the Warp in Warhammer 40,000 and as the Realm of Chaos in Warhammer Fantasy. The term can refer to these warp entities and their influence, the servants and worshippers of these entities, or even the parallel universe in which these entities are supposed to reside. The most powerful of these warp entities are those known as the Chaos Gods, also sometimes referred to as the Dark Gods, Ruinous Powers, or the Powers of Chaos. Similarities exist between the Warhammer idea of Chaos and the concept of Chaos from Michael Moorcock's Elric saga, which also influenced D&D's alignment system. Further similarities can be seen with the godlike extradimensional Great Old Ones of horror writer H. P. Lovecraft's stories.

Space Marines (Warhammer 40,000)
In the fictional universe of Warhammer 40,000 created by Games Workshop, Space Marines are genetically modified superhuman soldiers, the elite warriors of the Imperium of Man. The Space Marines are the most popular playable army for the table-top miniature wargame based in the setting. Space Marines have been one of the starter armies in every box edition of Warhammer 40,000, Space Hulk, and Epic. They also feature heavily in other Games Workshop products, such as books, films, and video games.
Tabletop game mechanics
Space Marines are a playable army in the tabletop miniatures game. Because they are individually so powerful, their armies tend to be small, thus a player can buy and assemble a functional army for relatively little money and effort. In terms of playing style, they are a versatile army that neither excels nor fails at any particular tactic, though certain Chapters do have variant rules. Individual units are typically not strongly specialised and can substitute in other roles, meaning mistakes and setbacks are easy to compensate for. Their tough armour means that they do not have to be manoeuvred as carefully as units of other armies (such as the frail Eldar). These qualities make them ideal for beginners.

And now, with this CAM Products Regulation effort, the FDA is about to deal a final, fatal blow to the alternative medicine industry, outlawing nutritional supplements, functional foods, homeopathy and natural therapies all at once. The legislation is largely a "harmonization" with the World Health Organization's CODEX Alimentarius, which on the surface establishes standardized food guidelines to ensure. Docket Number 2006D-0480 would forced into effect by December 31, 2009 all types of frightful practices in the name of food sanitation and reliable food supply: 1. Codex Alimentarius requires that all meats, poultry, fish, fruit and vegetables must be irradiated by Dec. 31, 2009. 2. Codex Alimentarius requires that all dairy cattle are to be given Monsanto bovine growth hormone by Dec. 31, 2009. 3. Codex Alimentarius reclassifies vitamin and mineral supplements as toxins and dramatically limits their dosage and availability. 4. Many nations have already harmonized their laws with Codex Alimentarius making it their de facto law. This has already been approved by the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and others. 5. Codex Alimentarius allows significant trade sanctions to be levied against noncompliant nations. 6. In 2005 there were five bills submitted to congress to weaken or eliminate DSHEA. Simular regulation was attempted in 1992, but rejected after public outcry turned the tide. Hopefully a halting response will surface in enough time to stop this new attempt to restrict even basic rights to natural products. -

So, this is an entry for Digital Extreme's Warframe "Tenno Tunes Vol. 2" contest. If you don't play Warframe, don't worry too much about what it's about, I just hope you enjoy listening.
The initial idea behind the song comes from a sentiment I've seen from many players regarding the Lotus: even though she's guided us, she's also hid things from us. Potentially she's hiding other things from the Tenno, and no one really knows too much about her (it's only through circumstance that we come to find out snippets of her past).
This, however, evolved into a question regarding Tenno existence- maybe something answered within game, and maybe some lore slipped from my mind- but the question of the Tenno's past wound up becoming the focus of this song (haha focus, get it? ha wow). We know about some things, but not really how or why they were in the circumstances that caused them to become Tenno.
This song focuses on one potential Tenno (of which there could be many) post Second Dream quest, who is seeking the answers seemingly forgotten.

The window for public commentary [COMMENT HERE A.S.A.P.] and opposition expires April 30, 2007, leaving almost no time to inform the populace or debate the seemingly absurd treatment of public health-- which hands over a monopoly to the big-pharma industrial complex and criminalizes natural treatments of all kinds.
Here's the summation from Mike Adams of News Target: When it comes to health freedom, this is the FDA's end game. A new FDA "guidance" document, published on the FDA's website, reveals plans to reclassify virtually all vitamins, supplements, herbs and even vegetable juices as FDA-regulated drugs. Massage oils and massage rocks will be classified as "medical devices" and require FDA approval. The document is called Docket No. 2006D-0480. Draft Guidance for Industry on Complementary and Alternative Medicine [CAM] Products and Their Regulation by the Food and Drug Administration. And now, with this CAM Products Regulation effort, the FDA is about to deal a final, fatal blow to the alternative medicine industry, outlawing nutritional supplements, functional foods, homeopathy and natural therapies all at once.
The legislation is largely a "harmonization" with the World Health Organization's CODEX Alimentarius, which on the surface establishes standardized food guidelines to ensure.
