Wuhan is the capital of Hubei province,China, and is the most populous city in Central China. It lies in the eastern Jianghan Plain at the intersection of the middle reaches of the Yangtze and Han rivers. Arising out of the conglomeration of three cities, Wuchang, Hankou, and Hanyang, Wuhan is known as "Jiusheng Tongqu (the nine provinces' leading thoroughfare)"; it is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways, roads and expressways passing through the city and connecting to major cities in Mainland China. Because of its key role in domestic transportation, Wuhan was sometimes referred to as the "Chicago of China."
Holding sub-provincial status, Wuhan is recognized as the political, economic, financial, cultural, educational and transportation center of central China. The city of Wuhan, first termed as such in 1927, has a population of 10,220,000 people (as of 2013). In the 1920s, Wuhan was the national capital of a leftist Kuomintang (KMT) government led by Wang Jingwei in opposition to Chiang Kai-shek, as well as wartime capital in 1937. At the 2010 census, its built-up (or metro) area made of 8 out of 10 urban districts (all but Xinzhou and Hannan not yet conurbated) was home to 8,821,658 inhabitants.
Ashleigh Barty (born 24 April 1996) is an Australian professional tennis player and cricketer. Barty first gained media attention by reaching the doubles final of the 2013 Australian Open, partnered by Casey Dellacqua. The pair also reached the finals of both Wimbledon and the US Open in 2013, making Barty one of the most successful WTA debutants in history. She also won the 2011 Wimbledon girls singles title, and has won one WTA doubles title so far in her career. As of September 2014, she is on an open-ended break from tennis. Barty switched to cricket in 2015, earning a contract with the Brisbane Heat for the inaugural Women's Big Bash League. She announced her return to tennis in February, 2016.
Playing her first singles events on the ITF junior tour in 2009, she reached the second round at the Waikato Bays ITF and the New Zealand 18 & Under Indoor Championships. Barty had a successful year on the tour in 2010 where she reached the final of her next five tournaments she played in. These included the Australian International Grade 4, Gallipoli Youth Tennis Cup, Queensland Junior ITF International 1, 2010 Junior Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Final and the Yonex LTAT- ITF Junior Grade 2 where she didn't lose a set through qualifying and maindraw. This gave her a record of 30 wins to one loss before losing in the second round of the Seogwipo Asian/Oceania Closed Championships. Barty started 2011 by reaching the second round of the Loy Yang Traralgon International and losing in the first round of her first grand slam match at the 2011 Australian Open to third seed Lauren Davis. She also lost in the first round of the doubles.

The Wuhan Open is one of three Women's Tennis Association events in China that was new to the calendar in 2014, bringing the total number of women's professional tournaments in the country to six. It is also one of two Premier-level stops in China. The tournament was scheduled in 2014 to run during the week of 22 September, and took over from the Pan Pacific Open held in Tokyo, Japan as a Premier 5-level event, thereby making it the second largest women's tennis tournament in East Asia, after the China Open in Beijing. It is on the calendar between the aforementioned Premier events in Tokyo (the Pan Pacific Open) and Beijing (the China Open), during the WTA's Asian swing.
Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province and the most populous city in Central China, is the hometown of two-time Grand Slam champion Li Na.
Street food is ready-to-eat food or drink sold by a hawker, or vendor, in a street or other public place, such as at a market or fair. It is often sold from a portable food booth, food cart, or food truck and meant for immediate consumption. Some street foods are regional, but many have spread beyond their region of origin. Most street foods are classed as both finger food and fast food, and are cheaper on average than restaurant meals. According to a 2007 study from the Food and Agriculture Organization, 2.5 billion people eat street food every day.
Today, people may purchase street food for a number of reasons, such as to get flavorful food for a reasonable price in a sociable setting, to experience ethnic cuisines, or for nostalgia.
Small fried fish were a street food in ancient Greece, however, Theophrastus held the custom of street food in low regard. Evidence of a large number of street food vendors were discovered during the excavation of Pompeii. Street food was widely consumed by poor urban residents of ancient Rome whose tenement homes did not have ovens or hearths. Here, chickpea soup with bread and grain paste were common meals. In ancient China, street food generally catered to the poor, however, wealthy residents would send servants to buy street food and bring it back for them to eat in their homes.

Wuhan has a reputation for tasty breakfasts. After eating a feast of street foods, I've proven that this reputation is warranted . I try the highly popular re gan mian or hot dry noodles. I stuff my face with san xiang dou pi or 3 flavor tofu skin. I crunch down on a mian wo. And so much more. When night falls, I head to the night market for more street food including some local specialties. Overall, it was an amazingly delicious day and it made me re-think Chinese breakfasts. ---/// ABOUT ME \\\--- I live in China and am constantly exploring and traveling the country and other parts of Asia. Wuhan possesses strong economic and regional advantages. It connects the east with the west, channels the north to the south, and links rivers with seas by means of its developed water, land and air traffic. From Wuhan you may reach some foreign countries such as Japan and ROK. Some of China's metropolises such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Xi'an are all within a circle around the center of Wuhan with the radius of 1000km. Wuhan is the important strategic supporting point of Central China.
These videos are filmed while riding an ebike on the streets of Wuhan, a fast growing Chinese city with a population of almost 10 million. Due to the limited range of the bike, all videos are shot in Wuchang near the Guanggu Square. Many of Wuhan's University are located in this area, also some beautiful lakes can be found here. Compered to the quite developed and clean City center in Hankou, Wuchang has a lot of constructions and some of the streets are a real challenge to drive. Till now, every video was shot with a Xiaomi Yi Cam 4k action camera, the newer videos without waterproof case to increase the picture quality. Also I uesed different external audio devices to get rid of the wind noise.
