THIRD REICH: THE RISE & FALL tells the story of Hitler's Germany through rarely seen films of the people who were there. When Hitler came to power, the national treasury was empty. Countless homes and farms were lost to private (Jewish controlled) Banks. The very first “invention” of the Third Reich was the breaking away from the international banking system, which made its money on debt finance; i.e., usury. This act later caused WWII. National Socialist government thwarted the international banking cartels by issuing its own currency known as Reich Marks, free from manipulation by International Financiers. World Jewry responded by declaring a global boycott of German goods. See here. Within two years, Germany was back on its feet. It had a solid, stable currency, and no inflation.
When Hitler came to power a wheelbarrow full of 100 billion-mark banknotes could not buy a loaf of bread. Germans lived in hovels. They had no work, no money and were starving. Hitler began a national credit program by devising a plan of public works that included construction of new roads, bridges, Dams, canals, and port facilities and flood control, repair of public buildings and private residences. All these were paid for new State owned currency Reich Marks which was free from manipulation by International financiers. Hitler said, “For every mark issued, we required the equivalent of a mark’s worth of work done, or goods produced.” Women were encouraged to be homemakers thus creating jobs for unemployed men. Within two years, the unemployment problem had been solved, and Germany was back on its feet.
It’s often been claimed, that Hitler’s success in reviving his nation’s economy was based largely on government spending for rearmament. This is a myth. As the renowned British historian A. J. P. Taylor noted: “Germany’s economic recovery, which was complete by 1936, did not rest on rearmament; it was caused mainly by lavish expenditure on public works, particularly on motor roads, and this public spending stimulated private spending also, as [British economist John Maynard] Keynes had said it would. …while nearly everyone else in Europe expected a great war, Hitler was the one man who neither expected nor planned for it.” A. Nazi Germany
Nazi Germany and the Third Reich (German: Drittes Reich) are common English names for the period of history in Germany from 1933 to 1945, when it was a dictatorship under the control of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party (NSDAP). Under Hitler's rule, Germany was transformed into a fascist totalitarian state which controlled nearly all aspects of life. The official name of the state was Deutsches Reich ("German Reich", "German Empire" or "German Realm") from 1933 to 1943 and Großdeutsches Reich (Greater German Reich) from 1943 to 1945. Nazi Germany ceased to exist after the Allied Forces defeated Germany in May 1945, ending World War II in Europe.
Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany by the President of the Weimar Republic Paul von Hindenburg on 30 January 1933. The Nazi Party then began to eliminate all political opposition and consolidate its power. Hindenburg died on 2 August 1934, and Hitler became dictator of Germany by merging the powers and offices of the Chancellery and Presidency. A national referendum held 19 August 1934 confirmed Hitler as sole Führer (leader) of Germany. All power was centralised in Hitler's hands, and his word became above all laws. The government was not a coordinated, co-operating body, but a collection of factions struggling for power and Hitler's favour. In the midst of the Great Depression, the Nazis restored economic stability and ended mass unemployment using heavy military spending and a mixed economy. Extensive public works were undertaken, including the construction of Autobahnen (high speed highways). The return to economic stability boosted the regime's popularity.

Reich
Reich (/ˈraɪk/;German: [ˈʁaɪç]) is a German word literally meaning "realm". The terms Kaiserreich (literally "realm of an emperor") and Königreich (literally "realm of a king") are used in German to refer to empires and kingdoms respectively.
As such, the term Deutsches Reich (often translated to "German Empire") continued to be used even after the collapse of the German Empire and abolition of the monarchy in 1918, without any imperial connotations.
The term derives from the Germanic word meaning "realm" in general, but is typically used in German to designate a kingdom or an empire, especially the Roman Empire. The terms Kaisertum (roughly "Emperordom") and Kaiserreich are used in German to more specifically define an empire ruled by an emperor.
Reich is comparable in meaning and development (as well as descending from the same Proto-Indo-European root) to the English word realm (via French reaume "kingdom" from Latin regalis "royal"). It is used for historical empires in general, such as the Roman Empire (Römisches Reich), Persian Empire (Perserreich), and both the Tsardom of Russia and the Russian Empire (Zarenreich, literally "Tsar realm").

The very first “invention” of the Third Reich was the breaking away from the international banking system, which made its money on debt finance; i.e., usury. This act later caused WWII. National Socialist government thwarted the international banking cartels by issuing its own currency known as Reich Marks, free from manipulation by International Financiers. World Jewry responded by declaring a global boycott of German goods. See here. Within two years, Germany was back on its feet. It had a solid, stable currency, and no inflation.
When Hitler came to power a wheelbarrow full of 100 billion-mark banknotes could not buy a loaf of bread. Germans lived in hovels. They had no work, no money and were starving. Hitler began a national credit program by devising a plan of public works that included construction of new roads, bridges, Dams, canals, and port facilities and flood control, repair of public buildings and private residences. All these were paid for new State owned currency Reich Marks which was free from manipulation by International financiers. Hitler said, “For every mark issued, we required the equivalent of a mark’s worth of work done, or goods produced.” Women were encouraged to be homemakers thus creating jobs for unemployed men. Within two years, the unemployment problem had been solved, and Germany was back on its feet.
It’s often been claimed, that Hitler’s success in reviving his nation’s economy was based largely on government spending for rearmament. This is a myth. As the renowned British historian A. J. P. Taylor noted: “Germany’s economic recovery, which was complete by 1936, did not rest on rearmament; it was caused mainly by lavish expenditure on public works, particularly on motor roads, and this public spending stimulated private spending also, as [British economist John Maynard] Keynes had said it would. …while nearly everyone else in Europe expected a great war, Hitler was the one man who neither expected nor planned for it.” A. The mediaeval Nuremberg Castle towers over the city from a sandstone rock, a fortress system whose construction began under Emperor Henry The Third. The importance of Nuremberg can be highlighted by the fact that each ruler of Germany resided in the castle until 1571. Tranquillity fills the air around Dozen Pond in the south of the city. In 1933 it was the Nazi Party Rally Complex of the German National Socialist Party and on 20th November, 1945, in the west wing of the old Justice Palace, the Nuremberg Trials took place against numerous infamous war criminals. A memorial was established there in which the various legal processes were documented in both words and pictures, and supported by audio recordings. Nuremberg has somehow managed to survive and is now a city of tradition and modernity, its daily charm stemming from its old and re-created cultures, and its positive outlook and embrace of contemporary times.

The importance of Nuremberg can be highlighted by the fact that each ruler of Germany resided in the castle until 1571. Tranquillity fills the air around Dozen Pond in the south of the city. In 1933 it was the Nazi Party Rally Complex of the German National Socialist Party and on 20th November, 1945, in the west wing of the old Justice Palace, the Nuremberg Trials took place against numerous infamous war criminals. A memorial was established there in which the various legal processes were documented in both words and pictures, and supported by audio recordings. Nuremberg has somehow managed to survive and is now a city of tradition and modernity, its daily charm stemming from its old and re-created cultures, and its positive outlook and embrace of contemporary times.

Recently we had the opportunity to visit Europa-Park, the largest theme park in Germany and second most popular theme resort in all of Europe.
This was the perfect opportunity for us to rekindle our childhood passion for rides. With over eleven different roller coasters alone we quickly realized we had never been to such a big theme park.
What we found cool was that the theme park was divided into different European countries. If you can't visit all of Europe going to Europa Park is like getting little slivers of it all.
Accommodating up to 50,000 guests per day, we were fortunate we didn't come during peak season; however, it was still crowded.
Overall, the weather was perfect, the rides were fun and it is an experience we won't forget anytime soon.
This is a bit of a surprise. We have an eight hour wait for a flight in Frankfurt, so instead of just hanging around in the airport, which was our original plan, we decided to drop our bags off and come into the city.
That pretty much wraps up our little visit to Frankfurt. We spent maybe three or four hours just walking around and it was really nice to just see the city without much of an agenda.
I came here with quite low expectations to be perfectly honest. I had heard more or less this is just a financial hub but it ended up being quite charming here in Frankfurt and I'm definitely going to miss Germany. I've had a wonderful time traveling around the country.
We aren't having much luck with the weather today. It is really rainy here in Freiburg. It is Easter weekend but we are out an exploring and we want to show you the city. Let's go have a tour.
One of my first impressions of Freiburg is that it is such a great city to walk around in. That's all we've been doing so far. It's very picturesque. There are cobbled streets and it is also very historic.
Thankfully, the weather has shifted dramatically for the better. Earlier we had been rained out, so we had to head back into the hotel because it was cold and windy. Now we're seeing a few patches of blue skies, so we're going to keep exploring around Freiburg.

Construction works on the incomplete Nazi coastal resort which is being rebuilt to host hotel and luxury vacation apartments continued in Ruegen Island’s Binz resort, Wednesday.
The construction of the Baltic Sea resort’s old building began in 1936, but work was stopped in 1939 with the start of WWII, leaving behind eight connected and unfinished six-storey buildings. Designed as a coastal retreat for faithful Nazis, the complex was taken over by the army of the GDR after the war and was mainly used for military drills. After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the GDR, the German Armed Forces moved into the buildings, keeping up the drills.
SOT, Willy Joszt, visitor and potential buyer (German): "What else can you do with these buildings, you cannot dismantle them as they are under heritage protection and using them as vacation apartments is probably not the worst thing under these circumstances. This has nothing to do with the past. The fact that it has been built at a time when some people, the so-called German ‘Volksgenossen’ were to spend their leisure time in such buildings while others were dying in concentration camps has nothing to do with the fact that they are being used for a new purpose now."

When Hitler came to power, the national treasury was empty. Countless homes and farms were lost to private (Jewish controlled) Banks. When Hitler came to power, the national treasury was empty. Countless homes and farms were lost to private (Jewish controlled) Banks. The very first “invention” of the Third Reich was the breaking away from the international banking system, which made its money on debt finance; i.e., usury. This act later caused WWII. National Socialist government thwarted the international banking cartels by issuing its own currency known as Reich Marks, free from manipulation by International Financiers. World Jewry responded by declaring a global boycott of German goods. See here. Within two years, Germany was back on its feet. It had a solid, stable currency, and no inflation.
When Hitler came to power a wheelbarrow full of 100 billion-mark banknotes could not buy a loaf of bread. Germans lived in hovels. They had no work, no money and were starving. Hitler began a national credit program by devising a plan of public works that included construction of new roads, bridges, Dams, canals, and port facilities and flood control, repair of public buildings and private residences. All these were paid for new State owned currency Reich Marks which was free from manipulation by International financiers. Hitler said, “For every mark issued, we required the equivalent of a mark’s worth of work done, or goods produced.” Women were encouraged to be homemakers thus creating jobs for unemployed men. Within two years, the unemployment problem had been solved, and Germany was back on its feet.
It’s often been claimed, that Hitler’s success in reviving his nation’s economy was based largely on government spending for rearmament. This is a myth. As the renowned British historian A. J. P. Taylor noted: “Germany’s economic recovery, which was complete by 1936, did not rest on rearmament; it was caused mainly by lavish expenditure on public works, particularly on motor roads, and this public spending stimulated private spending also, as [British economist John Maynard] Keynes had said it would. …while nearly everyone else in Europe expected a great war, Hitler was the one man who neither expected nor planned for it.” A.
