Monkeys are haplorhine ("dry-nosed") primates, a paraphyletic group generally possessing tails and consisting of approximately 260 known living species. Many monkey species are tree-dwelling (arboreal), although there are species that live primarily on the ground, such as baboons. Most species are also active during the day (diurnal). Monkeys are generally considered to be intelligent, particularly Old World monkeys.
Lemurs, lorises, and galagos are not monkeys; instead they are strepsirrhine ("wet-nosed") primates. Like monkeys, tarsiers are haplorhine primates; however, they are also not monkeys. There are two major types of monkey: New World monkeys (platyrrhines) from South and Central America and Old World monkeys (catarrhines of the superfamily Cercopithecoidea) from Africa and Asia. Hominoid apes (gibbons, orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees, and humans), which all lack tails, are also catarrhines but are not considered monkeys. (Tailless monkeys may be called "apes", incorrectly according to modern usage; thus the tailless Barbary macaque is sometimes called the "Barbary ape".) Because old world monkeys are more closely related to hominoid apes than to new world monkeys, yet the term "monkey" excludes these closer relatives, monkeys are referred to as a paraphyletic group. Simians ("monkeys") and tarsiers emerged within haplorrhines some 60 million years ago. New world monkeys and catarrhine monkeys emerged within the simians some 35 millions years ago. Old world monkeys and Hominoidea emerged within the catarrhine monkeys some 25 millions years ago. Extinct basal simians such as Aegyptopithecus or Parapithecus [35-32 Million years ago] are also considered monkeys by primatologists.
Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in 2002 in High Green, a suburb of Sheffield. The band consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, lead guitar), Matt Helders (drums, backing vocals), Jamie Cook (lead guitar, rhythm guitar) and Nick O'Malley (bass, backing vocals). Former band member Andy Nicholson (bass guitar, backing vocals) left the band in 2006 shortly after their debut album was released.
They have released five studio albums: Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (2006), Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007), Humbug (2009), Suck It and See (2011) and AM (2013), as well as one live album, At the Apollo (2008). Their debut album is the fastest-selling debut album by a band in British chart history, and in 2013, Rolling Stone ranked it the 30th-greatest debut album of all time.
The band have won seven Brit Awards—winning both Best British Group and Best British Album three times, and have been nominated for three Grammy Awards. They also won the Mercury Prize in 2006 for their debut album, in addition to receiving nominations in 2007 and 2013. The band have headlined at the Glastonbury Festival twice, in 2007 and again in 2013.
"I Wanna Know" is the lead single released from R&B musician Joe's third studio album My Name Is Joe and from the soundtrack to The Wood. The single was a huge hit across the U.S. reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100 on July 1, 2000 and number two on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. The single was released in November 1999 and went on to be Joe's third most successful hit in the U.S. behind "Stutter" (a subsequent release which peaked at number one on both the Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks charts) and "Thank God I Found You" alongside Mariah Carey & 98 Degrees, which made it to number one on both formats as well.
"I Wanna Know" topped the Billboard year-end charts for Top R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks Airplay in 2000. Additionally "I Wanna Know" was ranked fourth on Billboard Hot 100's Year-End Charts making it one of Joe's highest finishes on the year end charts.
According to the song's co-producer Edwin "Tony" Nicholas, "I Wanna Know" was originally intended for Joe's previous album All That I Am. He removed the song from the final tracklisting due to taking issue with the label heads wanting to be involved in the creative process. A few years later, he was asked to contribute a song to a soundtrack and claimed he didn't have anything to send to the record label. He then sent in "I Wanna Know" because it happened to be lying around the studio.

"Do I Wanna Know?" is a song recorded by English indie rock band Arctic Monkeys for their fifth studio album AM (2013). The song was released as a single on 18 June 2013 together with an accompanying music video, and afterwards became available for digital download via iTunes. A 7" vinyl edition of the single was released on 22 July 2013, with a B-side titled "2013".
The song was first played live on 22 May 2013 in Ventura, California, at the first concert of the Arctic Monkeys' AM Tour. Throughout the tour, "Do I Wanna Know?" was being played as the opening number.
"Do I Wanna Know?" has peaked at number 11 in the UK Singles Chart, charted in several other countries, and was the first Arctic Monkeys song to have ever entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States, peaking at number 70 in March 2014. In December 2014, the song was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Rock Performance category.
Musically, "Do I Wanna Know?" is a rock song with elements of psychedelic music and strong elements of stoner rock and blues rock. In terms of both lyrical content and aesthetic style, the song picks up from where the band's 2012 single "R U Mine?" left off. The guitar riffs are strikingly similar, but the song is more downtempo. The track continues the hard-edged, rocking sound of their previous album Suck It and See. In concert, singer and guitarist Alex Turner uses a Vox 12-string electric guitar.

She was NOT given away because she got too old and difficult. Nala was NEVER any trouble! She should be with other monkeys because it's the right thing. I do not condone owning a monkey as a pet. Do NOT ask me how to get one, I CAN"T help you! Help out at your local animal shelters, be a foster to these babies that need your help!
