Line art or line drawing is any image that consists of distinct straight or curved lines placed against a (usually plain) background, without gradations in shade (darkness) or hue (color) to represent two-dimensional or three-dimensional objects. Line art can use lines of different colors, although line art is usually monochromatic. Line art emphasizes form and outline, over color, shading, and texture. However, areas of solid pigment and dots can also be used in addition to lines. The lines in a piece of line art may be all of a constant width (as in some pencil drawings), of several (few) constant widths (as in technical illustrations), or of freely varying widths(as in brush work or engraving).
Line art may tend towards realism (as in much of Gustave Doré's work), or it may be a caricature, cartoon, ideograph, or glyph.
Before the development of photography and of halftones, line art was the standard format for illustrations to be used in print publications, using black ink on white paper. Using either stippling or hatching, shades of gray could also be simulated.
Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, auditory or performing artifacts – artworks, expressing the author's imaginative or technical skill, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power. In their most general form these activities include the production of works of art, the criticism of art, the study of the history of art, and the aesthetic dissemination of art.
The oldest form of art are visual arts, which include creation of images or objects in fields including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and other visual media. Architecture is often included as one of the visual arts; however, like the decorative arts, it involves the creation of objects where the practical considerations of use are essential—in a way that they usually are not in a painting, for example. Music, theatre, film, dance, and other performing arts, as well as literature and other media such as interactive media, are included in a broader definition of art or the arts. Until the 17th century, art referred to any skill or mastery and was not differentiated from crafts or sciences. In modern usage after the 17th century, where aesthetic considerations are paramount, the fine arts are separated and distinguished from acquired skills in general, such as the decorative or applied arts.
Line, lines or LINE may refer to:
Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor developed and marketed by Adobe Systems. The latest version, Illustrator CC, is the seventeenth generation in the product line.
Adobe Illustrator was first developed for the Apple Macintosh in December 1986 (shipping in January 1987) as a commercialization of Adobe's in-house font development software and PostScript file format. Adobe Illustrator is the companion product of Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop is primarily geared toward digital photo manipulation and photorealistic styles of computer illustration, while Illustrator provides results in the typesetting and logo graphic areas of design. Early magazine advertisements (featured in graphic design trade magazines such as Communication Arts) referred to the product as "the Adobe Illustrator". Illustrator 88, the product name for version 1.7, was released in 1988 and introduced many new tools and features.

Ok! Since a lot of people don't seem to quite get the message (most likely because I suck at angrish), I'm not talking about the process of a particular painting here, of course you can skip the line art and approach a new painting any way you like, all I'm saying is that you will only be able to do that AFTER you've gotten good at drawing, no way around it. There is not a single successful painter who cannot draw, since this was the first step in his/her art journey. Unfortunately most beginners don't understand this and tend to skip this very important first step in their art journey: mastering their lines. In today's Adobe Illustrator tutorial we're going to look at creating a stylish single weight line art logo. Even though the entire design is made just using lines, there's a range of Illustrator tools and techniques we'll use throughout this tutorial that you can incorporate into your arsenal. This style of illustration is pretty popular with badge style logo designs, particularly those with an outdoors theme with landscape scenes, so that's the type of design I'll be making in this guide. It features a simplistic mountain range with trees, clouds and snow capped peaks, along with stylised linework to represent water and sun rays. For Brad Feld's Startup Communities trailer, I found myself trying to re-created the look of a line art cover in motion graphic form. To achieve the look, I used Trapcode's 3D stroke, combined with the standard stroke plugin. I also used a bit of the Vegas effect, and using animated masks. In addition to the strokes, I relied on Riot Gear from video copilot for the paint splatters. Overall the production was fairly straight forward. The biggest challenge was trying to figure out where things were in 3D space with the 3D stroke effect. Once you bend it, things get really weird. I'm beginning a second trailer with the same look for the same author this week. If you're interested in a trailer like this, check us out at simplifilm.com/quote.

Eu sou assim
Nunca soube recitar poesias
