Michael Daniel Cohen is a Canadian actor and writer. He's best known for his role as Schwoz Schwartz in the Nickelodeon series Henry Danger.
Born in Winnipeg, Michael and his family moved to Richmond, British Columbia when he was 10. As a big fan of Carol Burnett and the other actors on TV's The Carol Burnett Show, he was inspired to be an actor and writer, and won a Young Playwright's Contest at the age of 12.
Years after graduating from college, Michael moved to Toronto, where he studied acting and landed his first voiceover job, without an agent, on the animated TV series Pippi Longstocking. Since then, he has appeared in TV shows such as Queer As Folk, Doc, Moville Mysteries, Roboroach and Henry's World, and has been heard in commercials for Microsoft, BMW, Dell, Ikea, Rogers AT&T, Bell Yellow Pages, Hyundai and others.
Michael wrote, produced and starred in the short film Jew Jube Lives, which was nominated for the prestigious Golden Sheaf Award for Comedy from Yorkton’s Film and Video Festival in 2005, and won the national Moc Docs award for Best Mockumentary. He next played an ineffectual skinhead in the comedic short Skinheads, produced by NBCUniversal and Norm Jewison’s Canadian Film Centre.
