Political correctness (adjectivally, politically correct, commonly abbreviated to PC) is a term primarily used as a pejorative to describe language, policies, or measures which are intended not to offend or disadvantage any particular group of people in society; in pejorative usage, those who use the term are generally implying that these policies are excessive. The term had only scattered usage before the 1990s, usually as an ironic self-description, but entered more mainstream usage in the United States when it was the subject of a series of articles in The New York Times. The phrase was widely used in the debate about Allan Bloom's 1987 book The Closing of the American Mind, and gained further currency in response to Roger Kimball's Tenured Radicals (1990), and conservative author Dinesh D'Souza's 1991 book Illiberal Education, in which he condemned what he saw as liberal efforts to advance self-victimization, multiculturalism through language, affirmative action, and changes to the content of school and university curricula.
Politically Incorrect is an American late-night, half-hour political talk show hosted by Bill Maher that ran from 1993 to 2002. It premiered on Comedy Central in 1993, moved to ABC in January 1997, and was canceled in 2002.
The show first originated from New York City, but soon moved to Los Angeles to make it easier to get "stars" as guests. The New York episodes were shot at the CBS Broadcast Center and the Los Angeles episodes at CBS Television City, where it remained even after its move to ABC.
The first episode featured comedian Jerry Seinfeld, Howard Stern co-host Robin Quivers, Republican Party strategist Ed Rollins, and comedian Larry Miller. Frequent guests included Dave Matthews, Arianna Huffington, Michael McKean, Ann Coulter, Carrot Top, and Christine O'Donnell.
The show began with a brief topical monologue from Maher. Then Maher introduces the guests individually, promoting their current projects. Four guests appear, usually a mix of individuals from show business, popular culture, pundits, political consultants, and occasionally regular people in the news, discussing topics in the news selected by Maher. Maher described the program as "The McLaughlin Group on acid."

Really great old clip Politically incorrect with Bill Maher. This episode from 1998 features the late comedian David Brenner and actress Lynn Redgrave along with musician Henry Rollins and conservative writer and political commentator Charmaine Yoest. Really interesting to see how some things haven't changed. The partisan Democrat vs Republican arguments sound similar to a lot of what you still hear today. They start the conversation talking about the off-year elections and debating whether the Republicans suffered loss or non-defeat. Much of the discussion revolves around the Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky scandal. They then spend some time talking about the election of former WWE wrestler Jesse "The Body" Venture as Governor of Minnesota. Toward the end they debate about an item ...
Air Date: June 14th, 2001 Panelists: Joe Rogan, Robert Wuhl, Mark Cuban & Nancy Wolf
Basically this video is my middle finger to the feminists and SJW's or to any oversensitive regressive that think they can police language or in this case comedy with political correctness. My twitter: https://twitter.com/0ginos

I refuse to be labeled, singled out and penned
anything other than American.
Because this is where I was born and that's what I am.
So you can stuff your trendy labels.
I don't give a damn... But that's not "P.C."
Because I'm Politically Incorrect.
Yeah, I'm so Politically Incorrect,
I'll bet I make you hippies sick!
And please don't get the wrong impression,
because it's really not what you think.
I'm NOT a fascist racist pig, when what I want is EQUALITY...
But that's not "P.C."
Black-White-Yellow-Brown, Check a little box!
And it's really not a matter of "cultural pride"
when you're dividing up the country like a piece of pie.
Because when our nation is divided
then the people will fall victim to their mind control.
You're up against the wall. YOU BETTER NOT THINK!
Or you're Politically Incorrect.
Yeah, or you're Politically Incorrect
