South OZ Entertainment have been operating for 10 years, and with a background in Radio, we have many different genres and styles of music unlike other DJ's who come from a background working in city nightclubs where they only play one specific style.

Operating DJ Business for 1 0 years with a background in Radio (trained at the Melbourne Radio School).

Great music selection - something for everybody!

Lighting also included in all our packages. -
How do you normally charge for your service?
Our packages are a set rate All Inclusive, that means that you know what you're paying up front and there are no hidden costs.

What makes your pricing competitive?
We are very competitive and we don't "rip you off" - we charge only to cover our costs and liability and insurance is by far the biggest expense to cover.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?
Any specific requirements you have we are always happy to customise our packages to suit your needs!
If required and if venue allows, we will throw in a fog machine or bubble machine at no extra cost for all our DJ packages. -
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
All our packages are a set rate, so there are no hidden costs afterwards.
You know what you are up for straight away, making it easier for budgeting and payments. -
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
As long as you give us the date of the event and roughly how long the event will go for, we can give you an accurate quote and then the rest can be sorted out later.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
We are fully covered by liability and insurance (contact us if you require a copy of our certificate of currency).
We are also licensed by the ppca which allows us to play music in licensed and unlicensed venues. -
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
We always communicate with our clients prior to the event and ensure that everything is under control. We arrive on time allowing plenty of time for setting up.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
We often get asked "Do you charge extra for travel?"
Our answer to that is, our travel expenses are factored into our packages, ensuring no extra hidden costs are lumped onto the customer afterwards. -
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
What is your music database like and do you have a large selection of genres and styles?
Also make sure they are licensed by ppca otherwise they are breaching Australian music laws and actually committing an offence. -
What do you like most about your job?
It's rewarding to be able to provide a service that ensures everybody has a great time and leaves at the end of the night with memories to last a lifetime!

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
We have so many happy customers it's hard to pick out just one, but all in all our customers love the fact that we are friendly and down to earth and not cocky or big headed!!!!

How did you decide to get into your line of work?
After working as a radio announcer for many years and having gained a wide knowledge of many different music styles and genres, I thought it was only fitting to share that with other people. I started getting a few requests to MC parties and DJ weddings and it just went from there!!
