Bachelor in Paradise contestant admits stars have adult 'sleepovers'

Show comments

We all know reality TV contestants like to get a little raunchy.

Throw a couple of rejected Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants in close proximity with sun, beaches and alcohol and sparks were bound to fly. Otherwise, why even put Bachelor in Paradise to air?

Bachelor: Luke gives his rose to Keira

Luke gave his rose to Keira, who broke down crying when he told her everyone deserves a second chance. Vision: Bachelor in Paradise on Ten.

But it turns out the frisky activities may have surpassed people's expectations.

Speaking on The Project on Thursday evening, eliminated contestant Nina spilled the beans about what really happens when the cameras stop rolling.

The 30-year-old Queenslander, who originally competed on Sam Wood's season of The Bachelor Australia, let slip that contestants on the show's spinoff series have been known to get handsy while other people are tying to sleep in the same room.

"We're all grown-ups and we're all adults," she told a shocked panel.  "We, um, do have sleepovers and we're allowed to sleep anywhere that we like. They are single beds, and there's two people to a room, so if you do have sleepovers, there's also a third person."

The revelation left co-host Gorgi Coghlan almost lost for words.

"Hang on... did you say, 'We're all adults, so we do have sleepovers?'" she asked.

"You can't tell me that you don't have sleepovers as an adult," Nina quipped.

It isn't the first time a Bachelor in Paradise star has left an interviewer gobsmacked. Last month, 34-year-old model Laurina Fleure told the Hit Network's Stav, Abby and Matt the set had condoms "in every room".
