As part of our European tour to meet the diverse range of people in our business, we travelled to Iceland for the second instalment in our We Are CCEP film series.
We Are CCEP showcases the variety of roles within our business, celebrating what makes us unique and how we all work together across the 13 countries in which we operate, to bring some of the world’s best-loved brands to millions of people in Western Europe.
In September, the first stop on our tour took us to Wakefield in GB where we met Ray and his daughter Kodi. We then hit the road and travelled almost 2,000km to our next destination – Reykjavik, Iceland.
Iceland first started producing Cola-Cola in 1942 and is the newest member of the CCEP family, joining in July 2016. The main office and bottling plant is based in Reykjavik, where we met Dísa Ólafsdóttir to hear more about her Coca-Cola journey.
Dísa has been working at Coca-Cola for more than 50 years. She has had a number of different roles, including in the manufacturing side of the business, but is now the receptionist in the main office.
