Accommodation

Our student residence, UniLodge @ VU, is a short walk to our Footscray Park and Footscray Nicholson campuses.

Built in 2016, UniLodge @ VU features fully-furnished luxury apartments, shared kitchens, lounges and study spaces, a café, pool table, basketball court and rooftop garden.

Safety

Melbourne is a safe and friendly city.

We actively maintain safe and secure environments, with security services available at each campus. Campus Security can escort you to the bus stop or your car when you finish your studies for the day.

In 2017, we launched VUSafe – a free mobile safety app packed full of safety information, tools and features to keep you safe on campus. You can download it free on iOS and Android.

Melbourne is the food capital of Australia. You can find cuisines from all cultures – from Indonesian and Italian to Greek and Chinese.

Close to our Footscray Park and Footscray Nicholson campuses, you’ll find a cultural hub of international food and fashion. Footscray is home to a thriving Chinese, Vietnamese and North African community. Beyond the butchers, fishmongers and delis of the Footscray Market, the surrounding streets are filled with Indian food stores, Italian bakeries and Asian grocers.
