It’s so easy to forget that this is all utterly unnecessary.

  2. If true, this is much more damning of May than Corbyn to any vaguely objective eye. Neither emerged with credit, though. If you need this explaining, you probably shouldn’t be following me.

  5. If, as seems likely, May shared more intelligence with Merkel, Macron & Trump than she did with Corbyn then *everything* makes sense & the Labour leader’s been made to look a stooge. I think he should have seen this play a mile off, but then I’m a glutton for Twitter punishment.

I don't think I'll ever be able to erase from my brain 's image of Nick Clegg being the filling in a Vince Cable sandwich, "with Tim Farron being a sort of gherkin".

This photo sums up the madness in Sheffield. All those police to allow a private contractor to cut down 1 tree!! Ridiculous waste of resources

  10. Obviously, the ‘cult’ thing only applies to those followers who deny Corbyn has any flaws or failings & react violently to the vaguest criticism of him. Thankfully, they identify themselves quite readily in my replies.

  12. This is fascinating. I fear this sort of organised complaining, though largely bogus, is effective. Particularly at the Beeb.

The Brexiters didn't expect to win, had no plan for Britain's future, and as explains, still don't know what they are talking about

Trump genuinely thought Japan drops bowling balls on their cars because he saw a commercial once 🤦‍♀️

Anyway, Putin is winning. He's demonstrated that London will only administer a slap on the wrist, subverted the official Opposition, spread doubt, division and disinformation in every direction. He's good at this.

Remember 's caller who went viral after her noisy neighbours started drilling in the middle of her call? Well, thanks to one brilliant LBC listener, the story had a very happy ending.

Putin is a murderous crook, Corbyn is a wally with a cult following & Theresa May is an unbelievably rubbish Prime Minister. Nothing that’s happened this week has shifted these convictions one iota. Have a lovely weekend.

This is why I, and so many others who have experienced authoritarianism, were horrified by Trump's open admiration for Putin. It normalizes autocracy at home, too.

If only Brexiters were as much concerned about citizen rights as they are about being seen as racists. Instead: in 2016: "nothing's going to change for EU citizens living in the UK" in 2018: "If you don't like it just leave" or "If you don't like it just become British"
