    I'd say, 1) teach maths through the lens of the day to day e.g. what does maths have to do with social media? What does maths+psychology have to do with sales? 2) They need to meet more people using maths everyday. Career mentors? 3) Connect maths with creativity

    I was gobsmacked when my GCSE maths teacher asked if I'd considered A Level maths, as I thought that I was no good at it - despite being in the top set. The career benefits were also not obvious, aged 16. Although I was already obsessed with money by that age!
