Why are there stocks at all?
Everyday in the news we hear about the stock exchange, stocks and money moving around the globe. Still, a lot of people don't have an idea why we have stock markets at all, because the topic is usually very dry. We made a short video about the basics of the stock exchanges. With robots. Robots are kewl!

Physical access trumps digital access and we’ve all seen lockpicking explained at several security venues. You might even have tried it yourself. But what if you need to open a lock a number of times? Wouldn’t it be great to have an opening technique that would supply you with a working key in the process?
A method to do this has existed for quite some time, but until recently it has remained quite unknown. Some time ago impressioning locks got “re-invented” by the lockpick community and the skill evolved to the level now shown at several international championships.
Unlike lockpicking, impressioning creates a fully working key for the lock which can be used to lock and unlock the cylinder at will. With practice, this technique can consistently open a lock in 10-15 minutes (and potentially faster)!
What is it? How does it work? What skill is involved? Why is it the most interesting way to open a lock? These questions, and more will be answered in this talk. With this technique (and a bit of training) several of your defence layers might turn out to be not as effective as you previously thought…

Jos Weyers (@josweyers) is a world-record holder in the field of lock impressioning and a mainstay participant at LockSport events around the world. A long-time member of TOOOL in the Netherlands and a key figure at the Hack42 hackerspace in Arnhem, Jos recently became the Vice-President of TOOOL.nl and now helps to oversee that organization and the LockCon conference. Jos is the mastermind behind the beehive42.org initiative. Some people know him as the Dutch Kilt guy. Featured in the New York Times. Voted #2 in the category “Hackers and Security” of the Nerd101-list of VrijNederland June 2015.

Jos
Jos is a city in the Middle Belt of Nigeria. The city has a population of about 900,000 residents based on the 2006 census. Popularly called "J-town", it is the administrative capital of Plateau State.
The city is located on the Jos Plateau at an elevation of about 1,238 metres or 4,062 feet high above sea level. During British colonial rule, Jos was an important centre for tin mining. In recent years it has suffered violent religious clashes between its Muslim and Christian populations in 2001, 2008, 2010, and 2011.
History
The earliest known settlers of the land that would come to be known as Nigeria were the Nok people (circa 3000 BC), skilled artisans from around the Jos area who mysteriously vanished in the late first millennium.
According to the historian Sen Luka Gwom Zangabadt, the area known as Jos today was inhabited by indigenous tribes who were mostly farmers. According to Billy J. Dudley, the British colonialists used direct rule for the indigenous tribes on the Jos plateau since they were not under the Fulani emirates where indirect rule was used. According to the historian Samuel N Nwabara, the Fulani empire controlled most of northern Nigeria, except the Plateau province and the Berom Mwagavhul, Ng as, Tiv, Jukun and Idoma tribes. It was the discovery of tin by the British that led to the influx of other tribes such as the Hausa, Igbo, Urhobo and Yoruba, thus making Jos a cosmopolitan city.

Guide
A guide is a person who leads travelers or tourists through unknown or unfamiliar locations. The term can also be applied to a person who leads others to more abstract goals such as knowledge or wisdom.
Travel and recreation
Explorers in the past venturing into territory unknown by their own people invariably hired guides. Lewis and Clark hired Sacagawea to help them explore the American West, and Wilfred Thesiger hired guides in the deserts that he ventured into, such as Kuri on his journey to the Tibesti Mountains in 1938.
Tour guide
Tour guides lead visitors through tourist attractions and give information about the attractions' natural and cultural significance. Often, they also act as interpreters for travellers who do not speak the local language. Automated systems like audio tours are sometimes substituted for human tour guides. Tour operators often hire guides to lead tourist groups.
Mountain guide
Mountain guides are those employed in mountaineering; these are not merely to show the way but stand in the position of professional climbers with an expert knowledge of rock and snowcraft, which they impart to the amateur, at the same time assuring the safety of the climbing party. This professional class of guides arose in the middle of the 19th century when Alpine climbing became recognized as a sport.

Physical access trumps digital access and we’ve all seen lockpicking explained at several security venues. You might even have tried it yourself. But what if you need to open a lock a number of times? Wouldn’t it be great to have an opening technique that would supply you with a working key in the process?
A method to do this has existed for quite some time, but until recently it has remained quite unknown. Some time ago impressioning locks got “re-invented” by the lockpick community and the skill evolved to the level now shown at several international championships.
Unlike lockpicking, impressioning creates a fully working key for the lock which can be used to lock and unlock the cylinder at will. With practice, this technique can consistently open a lock in 10-15 minutes (and potentially faster)!
What is it? How does it work? What skill is involved? Why is it the most interesting way to open a lock? These questions, and more will be answered in this talk. With this technique (and a bit of training) several of your defence layers might turn out to be not as effective as you previously thought…

Jos Weyers (@josweyers) is a world-record holder in the field of lock impressioning and a mainstay participant at LockSport events around the world. A long-time member of TOOOL in the Netherlands and a key figure at the Hack42 hackerspace in Arnhem, Jos recently became the Vice-President of TOOOL.nl and now helps to oversee that organization and the LockCon conference. Jos is the mastermind behind the beehive42.org initiative. Some people know him as the Dutch Kilt guy. Featured in the New York Times. Voted #2 in the category “Hackers and Security” of the Nerd101-list of VrijNederland June 2015.

Today’s video is all about our visit to Lviv. Having come straight from Kiev, Lviv offered a real change of scenery. The city was much smaller, more walkable, and it looked distinctly Central European. In some ways, it reminded us of a smaller version of Krakow or Prague, though a little rough around the edges. But enough about first impressions; let us actually show you around. In this video we’re going to take you on a grand tour of the city and highlight 20 things to do in Lviv on your next visit, so let’s get started.
Like in Kiev, we quickly discovered that Lviv is a city of churches, so our next stop was the Church of the Holy Communion. After our sushi lunch, we visited the Bernardine Church in the south end of the Old Town; followed by the Latin Cathedral, which sits in the southwest corner of Market Square; and finally the Jesuit Church, where we stumbled upon yet another wedding!
And that’s a wrap for our visit to Lviv, Ukraine. We found this to be a charming city with a completely different look and feel from Kiev, so we’re glad we added this stop to our itinerary. If you’re short on time, this is a great destination for a weekend escape.

Close to Seoul’s great South Gate is Namdaemun Market, where locals have been bargaining hard for over 600 years. Looking for some Gangnam style? Head just upriver to Samseong-dong, the Beverly Hills of Seoul.
Spend a few hours in the wooded surrounds of the Bongeunsa Buddhist Temple, a peaceful antidote to the fierce pace of Seoul’s shopping. Then hike to the peak of Namsan, and take in the sweeping views from Seoul’s iconic tower. Patagonia, the fabled ‘edge of the world’, spans the southernmost regions of Chile and Argentina and can be rugged and desolate as well as breathtakingly beautiful and inviting.
This last frontier of South America is a colorful mosaic of snow-capped mountains, icebergs, volcanoes, glaciers, forests, lakes and vast steppe plains.
On the Argentinean side, the scenic Road of the 7 Lakes takes you from San Martín de los Andes to Villa La Angostura and finally San Carlos de Bariloche, a popular ski resort on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi.

Begin your visit in the central district of San Marco, and walk upon one of the world’s great squares, St Mark’s Square. The square is surrounded by some of the city’s finest jewels such as St Mark’s Basilica, St Mark’s Campanile and Doge’s Palace.
Just outside stand the Columns of San Marco and San Teodoro. From here, journey along one of the world’s great aquatic thoroughfares, The Grand Canal. Glide past elegant palazzos; once the homes of wealthy merchants, today many of these palaces house important museums and galleries.
Known as The City Of Bridges, Venice has hundreds to explore. The Accademia Bridge links the San Marco district to the Accademia Gallery, and offers some of the Grand Canal’s finest views. The oldest of the Grand Canal’s four crossings is the Rialto Bridge, which today still serves as the gateway to the Rialto Markets. The most famous of all is the Bridge of Sighs, which connects Doge’s Palace to the historic prison.
Venice is a city to get lost in, so put away your map and let her surprise you. Discover waterfront promenades of The Zattere and the sleepy canals and spacious piazzas of Castello. On the tiny island of Murano, glassmakers have been creating works of incredible delicacy and color for over 700 years. Further across the lagoon, the island of Burano is famed for its brightly colored houses and exquisite lace.
Venice has shone her light into the far corners of the world for over one and a half thousand years. Just remember, this city smiles upon those who linger. So stay for a few nights, or stay for a month, and savor every moment she has to offer.

The industrious Scots made their mark all over New Zealand, but nowhere is the Caledonian spirit more alive than in Dunedin. Set at the head of the South Island’s Otago Harbour, the city center is shaped by The Octagon.
From here, wander down Stuart Street to New Zealand’s most photographed building, Dunedin Railway Station. Just up the tracks, venture back in time at the Toitū Otago Settlers Museum, while just across town is the Otago Museum.
Retracing centuries of history can be thirsty work, so combine a little learning with leisure, at Speight’s Brewery, which has been serving up the Pride of the South since 1876. Then stretch your legs on St Clair Beach, a popular summertime hangout for generations of Dunedinites.
Rent a car and head into the peninsula’s hills to Larnach Castle. Further up the peninsula is the Ōtākou Marae, the hub of Ngāi Tahu cultural life. The peninsula comes to an end at Taiaroa Head, home to the world’s only mainland albatross breeding colony.

Physical access trumps digital access and we’ve all seen lockpicking explained at several security venues. You might even have tried it yourself. But what if you need to open a lock a number of times? Wouldn’t it be great to have an opening technique that would supply you with a working key in the process? A method to do this has existed for quite some time, but until recently it has remained quite unknown. Some time ago impressioning locks got “re-invented” by the lockpick community and the skill evolved to the level now shown at several international championships. A long-time member of TOOOL in the Netherlands and a key figure at the Hack42 hackerspace in Arnhem, Jos recently became the Vice-President of TOOOL.nl and now helps to oversee that organization and the LockCon conference. Jos is the mastermind behind the beehive42.org initiative. Some people know him as the Dutch Kilt guy. Featured in the New York Times.
