    It's in the story. The chart data provides country, not spec. location, just as reporting troops in Vietnam did in the 60s-70s. It is 3 mos. old (at least.) It (was) a way to provide accountability to the American public. DoD reported these for a decade, w/ no problem.

    This is a Bullshit post. Convenient the way you leave the footnote off that the asterisk refers to.. "*With ongoing operations, any questions concerning DoD personnel strength numbers are deferred to OSD Public Affairs/Joint Chiefs of Staff." It's common sense asshat.
