The video sheds light on some of the families who lost their homes during the 2014 hostilities on Gaza and now have a new house with support from the Government of Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Fund for Development.
Jamal Abdul Nasser School serves 800 students and was re-built with support from Qatar Fund for Development through EAA Foundation's Al Fakhoora programme.
26 families are now the proud owners of new homes at Al Ameer Nayef bin Abdel Aziz Saudi neighborhood in Beit Lahia.
DEEP is a pathfinder programme for economic empowerment and poverty eradication in the State of Palestine funded by the Islamic Development Bank / Al-Aqsa Fund, and implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Palestinian Government. In addition to poor families, DEEP targets youth, women, small farmers and persons with disability, helping them manage their own micro-enterprises.
EAA, through Al Fakhoora, awarded 100 new scholarships to young leaders in the Gaza Strip.
The project is funded by the EU and implemented by UNDP, to revitalize the Palestinian tourism sector by rehabilitating historical landmarks and creating jobs.
