    80% of Michigan charter schools are for-profit. I don’t know about you, but I don’t pay taxes for schools just so some corporation can pocket the money.

  13. Public universities have a fiscal responsibility to their students, faculty, staff, and state taxpayers. The state needs to step up and support these institutions. They must show that they will spend for students’ and employees’ best interests.

    Gun reform makes gun access less likely, which makes the assumption of gun possession by cops less likely - which makes force less likely. It’s another reason we need - and comprehensive implicit bias training for officers.
