As a no-mess, no-fuss domain and email hosting aficionado, One.com makes getting started with your domain really simple. You'll get a free domain name registration for the first year and unlimited email accounts at that domain forever. When it comes to designing your site, you can take advantage of their WYSIWYG website builder, or opt for WordPress, both of which are pretty user-friendly. If you run into any trouble, there are tons of guides and FAQs available on the One.com website. They also have a support staff available via email and chat.
One.com's plans range from very basic, with 15GB of storage, a free site builder, 1-year domain name registration, and unlimited email accounts, to the more advanced options of their "Business" plan ($6.00/month for 500GB of storage, 4GB of RAM, multiple domains/databases, and eight CPUs). As expected, you get increased allowances for storage, RAM, processing power, and domains with added cost, so depending on your estimated requirements for your site, you should be able to judge which package is the best fit for you. Overall, none of their prices are excessive, but you do sort of get what you pay for, which is mostly just the bare hosting essentials.
One.com is great for the DIY crowd, as a good chunk of their support options involve watching one of their online video guides. They do have a live chat option and they offer email support with a promise to respond within 24 hours. As for reliability for your site itself, they do not offer an uptime guarantee, which is not ideal; however, One.com does assure customers that the servers are monitored around the clock, which should help ensure minimal downtime for your website.

Hosting Expert:
Often times the rule of thumb with hosting plans is "you get what you pay for," and while that may be true in terms of the number of features or support options One.com makes available to customers, they know what they're good at: domain and email hosting. These folks do a great job of helping users get a basic personal site, blog, or photo gallery up on the Web quickly. They're a fine option for first-time users and we can certainly recommend them as a cost-effective contender for email hosting.
