Mam Nai or Mam Nay, nom de guerre Comrade Chan is a war criminal and former lieutenant of Santebal, the internal security branch of the Khmer Rouge communist movement, which ruled Democratic Kampuchea from 1975 to 1979. He was the leader of the interrogation unit at Tuol Sleng (S-21), assisting Kang Kek Iew (Comrade Duch), the head of the camp where thousands were held for interrogation, torture and subsequent killing.
Mam Nay gave testimony at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia on 14 July 2009. He denied being a leader of the interrogation and torture system of the Khmer Rouge.
Tall, pock-marked and having a pink complexion, Mam Nai impressed both Nate Thayer and François Bizot as the most frightening Khmer Rouge individual they ever beheld. Bizot further described Mam Nai as a 'true crime fiction character' with a terrifying 'gallows face'. He met him twice at the French Embassy compound in Phnom Penh, the second time during the arrest of Sirik Matak who had been hiding seeking political asylum.
.nai is a proposed generic top-level domain (gTLD) for Native, Aboriginal & Indigenous communities of the Americas. It is the successor to the 1999 .naa proposal (see footnote #1) to ICANN (and footnote #2) for "a gTLD jurisdictionally scoped to North America and the territories, trusts and treaty dependencies of the United States and Canada, and with a policy model of registry delegation to, and registry operation by, the Indigenous Nations and Peoples of North America."
Initially a work product of the Tribal Law mailing list, the proposal was presented to the Digital Council Fires: A Native American Telecommunications Conference. The conference was held on May 13-16, 1999 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was organized by the National Indian Telecommunications Institute (NITI), a private non-profit organization that employs advanced technology to serve American Indians, Alaskan Natives, and Native Hawaiians in the areas of education, economic development, language and cultural preservation, tribal policy issues and self-determination. Nai is one of the Kwomtari languages. However, due to an alignment error in the published data, Nai (as Biaka) was mistakenly placed in a spurious "Baibai" family with the Fas language Baibai; this was then linked back to the Kwomtari family as "Kwomtari–Baibai". (See Kwomtari–Fas languages for details.)

This is the new sound
We came to get down
Our name is Chromeo
And we are in control
This is the new sound
We came to get down
Our name is Chromeo
And we are in control
Have you ever felt this way?
Felt the need to get away?
Well, I have
Yeah
When the world is out to get you
And your friends are all against you
And you're sad
So what do you say?
I want to get away
From the problems of the world today
Me and my man on a plane
Fly away to a better place
I want to get away
From the problems of the world today
Me and my man on a plane
Fly away to a better place
I want to
I need to
Fly away when they are out to get you
You want it
You need it
Look inside and you will find that feeling
My heart is made of stone
My soul is made of songs
My girl is on the phone
But I want to be left alone
This is the side of me
You think of irony
I wish you tried to see that I need someone to set me
free
I want to get away
From the problems of the world today
Me and my man on a plane
Fly away to a better place
This is the new sound
We came to get down
Our name is Chromeo
And we are in control
I want to get away
From the problems of the world today
Me and my man on a plane
