Cluster may refer to:
Großes Wasser is the seventh album by the electronic music outfit Cluster. It was co-produced by former Tangerine Dream member Peter Baumann. Großes Wasser marked the return to Cluster working as a duo of Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius after two albums collaborating with Brian Eno.
Großes Wasser was recorded and released in 1979 on the Hamburg, Germany based Sky label. It featured a wide variety of styles, including some of the most avant-garde material created by Moebius and Roedelius since the demise of Kluster with Conrad Schnitzler's departure in 1971, particularly during the middle section of the title track, which occupied all of side 2. Other tracks, including "Manchmal" and both the opening and closing sections of "Großes Wasser" continued the gentle, melodic style of the previous three albums, while others echoed the rhythmic style of Zuckerzeit, albeit with more of an edge. Steven and Alan Freeman, writing in their book The Crack in the Cosmic Egg, describe the title track, in part, as "...a lengthy suite growing out of silence with atmospheric Florian Fricke-like sustained piano tones, via bizarre crackling electronics onto almost tribal-industrial rock percussives."
Dieter Moebius (16 January 1944 – 20 July 2015) was a German/Swiss experimental/krautrock/ambient/electronic musician.
Moebius studied art in Brussels and Berlin and met there Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Conrad Schnitzler (Tangerine Dream). They founded a band Kluster in 1969. After the departure of Schnitzler, they changed their name to Cluster. Later Moebius and Roedelius founded the band Harmonia with Michael Rother (Neu!), which also collaborated with Brian Eno.
Dieter Moebius was involved in numerous projects with such musicians as Conny Plank, Mani Neumeier (Guru Guru).
Moebius toured with Michael Rother as Rother & Moebius in 2007. Additionally, on 27 November 2007, a Harmonia reunion concert was held in Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, where the band performed together live for the first time since 1976. He died on 20 July 2015 of cancer.
Hans-Joachim Roedelius (born 26 October 1934 in Berlin) is a German experimental, ambient and electronic musician. He is best known as a co-founder of the krautrock groups Cluster and Harmonia and for his work in the ambient jazz trio Aquarello.
As a child he acted in UFA films such as "Verklungene Melodie" (Dead Melody, 1938), "Es leuchten die Sterne" etc.. He was an unwilling member of the Hitler Youth, for the youngest called 'Pimpfen'.
In 1968 Roedelius co-founded the music commune known as "Human Being" and co-formed Zodiak Free Arts Lab, the center of Berlin's Underground Culture at the time, with conceptual artist Conrad Schnitzler. He met Dieter Moebius at the Zodiak. In 1970 Roedelius, Schnitzler and Moebius formed Kluster. In 1971 Schnitzler left the group to start a long-running solo career and Moebius and Roedelius anglicised the band's name to Cluster. At first Cluster worked along the same lines as their parent group, signed first to Philips then to Brain.
Cluster & Eno is a collaborative album by the German electronic music group Cluster and English ambient musician Brian Eno. The style of this album is a collection of gentle melodies: a mixture of Eno’s ambient sensibilities and Cluster's avant-garde style.
In June, 1977 the duo of Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius joined with Brian Eno for recording sessions at Conny Plank's studio. The first release from those sessions on Sky Records was Cluster & Eno. Guest musicians on the album included Can bassist Holger Czukay and Asmus Tietchens on synthesizer. The association with Eno brought Cluster a much wider audience than previous albums and international attention.
Bryan Reesman, in his editorial review for Amazon.com, writes, in part:
Sky records issued the album on CD in 1989, shuffling the running order. The American Gyroscope label reissued Cluster & Eno on CD in 1996. The album was also reissued in the United States by the San Francisco based Water label in 2005.

This album closes Moebius & Roedelius early radical experimentations in electronic, guitar/organ works. Compositions are always made of repetitive patterns, simple motifs, noisy and cerebral. Curiosum was recorded in May, 1981 at Hamet Hof in Vienna, Austria and released later that year. The album was Cluster's last release for Sky. It lives up to its name, with the seven relatively short tracks of offbeat and unusual melodies. Over a two year period, dozens of young people in the small Welsh town of Bridgend have killed themselves. Many of the victims knew each other and the deaths made headlines worldwide. There were allegations of internet suicide cults or a suicide craze. What caused this ’cluster’ of deaths? Can suicide be contagious and what role did media coverage play in encouraging more deaths? In this thought-provoking documentary, Emmy award winning journalists Zachary Newmark and Amy Jacobson go in search of the truth. Want to watch more full-length Documentaries? Look into the mirror and tell me
What kind of pictures do you see?
Disturbing and awful or clear and beautiful?
Again moving towards the end
Or a beginning that makes you smile?
Expensive heartbreak getting more and more
The mind seems to be erased and sour
A decade of misgiving soon begins
With a cold heart the first cluster arrives
One step closer to the end
One mile far from choice
I will do a sacrifice when you will do a sacrifice
An empire falls in glory and blight
Spring hasn't yet arrived
Soon the sun will shine
And life will flood my veins
The last aspiration comes true
Approved: the wish for a change
Reaching grace by by a fire-weapon
But this is murdering myself
The spreaded sugar tastes bitter
