Taco

A taco (/ˈtɑːkoʊ/ or UK /ˈtækoʊ/) is a traditional Mexican dish composed of a corn or wheat tortilla folded or rolled around a filling. A taco can be made with a variety of fillings, including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, vegetables and cheese, allowing for great versatility and variety. A taco is generally eaten without utensils and is often accompanied by garnishes such as salsa or chili pepper, avocado or guacamole, cilantro (coriander), tomatoes, onions and lettuce.

Etymology

According to the Real Academia Española, publisher of Diccionario de la Lengua Española, the word taco describes a typical Mexican dish of a maize tortilla folded around food ("Tortilla de maíz enrollada con algún alimento dentro, típica de México"). The original sense of the word is of a "plug" or "wad" used to fill a hole ("Pedazo de madera, metal u otra materia, corto y grueso, que se encaja en algún hueco"). The Online Etymological Dictionary defines taco as a "tortilla filled with spiced meat" and describes its etymology as derived from Mexican Spanish, "light lunch", literally, "plug, wadding". The sense development from "plug" may have taken place among Mexican silver miners, who used explosive charges in plug form consisting of a paper wrapper and gunpowder filling.

Music Inc. is an album by American jazz trumpeter Charles Tolliver's Music Inc. with a Big Band recorded in 1970 and first released on the Strata-East label.

Reception

The Allmusic review by Jason Ankeny awarded the album 4½ stars stating "The remarkable Music, Inc. Big Band remains the apotheosis of trumpeter Charles Tolliver's singular creative vision. Rarely if ever has a big band exhibited so much freedom or finesse, while at the same time never overwhelming the virtuoso soloists on whom the performances pivots".

Rhett and Link

Rhett and Link are an "Internetainer" duo consisting of Rhett James McLaughlin (born October 11, 1977) and Charles Lincoln "Link" Neal (born June 1, 1978) from North Carolina. Self-styled as "Internetainers" (a portmanteau of the words "Internet" and "entertainers"), they are known for their online viral videos and comedy songs, ten-episode TV series Rhett & Link: Commercial Kings for the Independent Film Channel, and more recently, their daily talk-show, Good Mythical Morning. In their 2008 documentary, Looking for Ms. Locklear, they chronicled their search for the first grade teacher in whose class they met for the first time.

The duo runs a number of YouTube channels including Rhett & Link, which has over 584 million views and nearly 4 million subscribers, and Good Mythical Morning, a talk-show posted on weekdays at 6:00 am EST with over 1.9 billion views and over 9 million subscribers (making it the 63rd most-subscribed YouTube channel). With 2 million subscribers, a third channel called Good Mythical MORE airs directly after Good Mythical Morning and is described as the "show after the show." Their fourth channel called EXTRAS – RhettandLink (RhettandLink4) is dedicated to uploading extras (BTSs, included sketches of Good Mythical Morning, etc.) and unedited versions of certain videos.
