Thats why one of the Syrian victims of the Grenfell fire managed to phone home to his parents in Syria before he died its that dangerous 3 brothers of fighting age run here to study for an Engineering degree while the old people aswell as women and children stay in Syria

Funny how We British send our old people aswell as women and children to a place of safety while we stand and fight for our country. Yet others run here for a free flat free education and free wages from the DWP while their elderly and women are in a danger zone

Most travel through Europe to get to Britain though, its hardly fair on the UK, and the taxpayer to continue taking refugees past our quota. Most leave safe countries to get here.

Set them up in a safe zone in their own country where money spent will go 10+ times further, will help 10+ times as many people. But this has nothing to do with safety, with offering shelter. This has to do with public dependencies: the greater, the better for govt., unions, etc

Refugees have been a sad reality in our world for centuries. But a kind heart can't overrule sound judgement. The US can't and shouldn't be the lifeboat of the world. We could assist them to return to a better homeland, but we can't take everyone into our midst. Another sad fact.
