Zadar was the third city I explored on my two-week trip around Croatia. Walked through the roman ruins in The Forum, listened to the sea organ, climbed to the top of the bell tower and the Church of St. Donatus, and walked on top of the Greeting to the Sun lights.

Rather than just showing the main tourist attractions of my city, I wanted to share with you the authenticity of my city and the lifestyle. The stuff you will really see if you ever come to Zadar. I stripped down the city to its core elements for all of you to see. My last Visit Zadar video in 2016 was filmed in one day and I got amazing feedback for it. I wanted to step it up a notch and put everything I learned till now in my videography career for you guys to see. This is the type of content I want to make. I've been insecure with my YouTube channel lately because I don't want to be seen as just the funny YouTuber. I want to be seen for who I really am, and for what I really love doing. This is what I'm passionate about. This video consisted of a lot of uber drives to town, a lot of sweat, early mornings, late nights, fornetti, coffees but also good times with new friends! Zadar
Zadar (Croatian pronunciation: [zâdar]; see other names) is a city in Croatia, situated on the Adriatic Sea. It is the centre of Zadar County and the wider northern Dalmatian region. In the last official census of 2011 the population of Zadar was 75,082, making it the fifth largest city in the country. Zadar is a historical centre of Dalmatia as well as the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Zadar: it has a rich history dating from prehistoric times.
Etymology and historical names
The name of the city of Zadar emerged as Iadera and Iader in ancient times, but the origin of the name is older. It was most probably related to a hydrographical term, coined by an ancient Mediterranean people and their Pre-Indo-European language. They transmitted it to later settlers, the Liburnians. The name of the Liburnian settlement was first mentioned by a Greek inscription from Pharos (Stari grad) on the island of Hvar in 384 BC, where the citizens of Zadar were noted as Ίαδασινοί (Iadasinoi). According to the Greek source Periplus of Pseudo-Scylax the city was Ίδασσα (Idassa), probably a Greek transcription of the original Liburnian expression.

Rather than just showing the main tourist attractions of my city, I wanted to share with you the authenticity of my city and the lifestyle. The stuff you will really see if you ever come to Zadar. I stripped down the city to its core elements for all of you to see. My last Visit Zadar video in 2016 was filmed in one day and I got amazing feedback for it. I wanted to step it up a notch and put everything I learned till now in my videography career for you guys to see. This is the type of content I want to make. I've been insecure with my YouTube channel lately because I don't want to be seen as just the funny YouTuber. I want to be seen for who I really am, and for what I really love doing. This is what I'm passionate about. This video consisted of a lot of uber drives to town, a lot of sweat, early mornings, late nights, fornetti, coffees but also good times with new friends! Every city has a story, this is Zadars ⛵️🌅
Rather than just showing the main tourist attractions of my city, I wanted to share with you the authenticity of my city and the lifestyle. The stuff you will really see if you ever come to Zadar. I stripped down the city to its core elements for all of you to see. My last Visit Zadar video in 2016 was filmed in one day and I got amazing feedback for it. I wanted to step it up a notch and put everything I learned till now in my videography career for you guys to see. This is the type of content I want to make. I've been insecure with my YouTube channel lately because I don't want to be seen as just the funny YouTuber. I want to be seen for who I really am, and for what I really love doing. This is what I'm passionate about. This video consisted of a lot of uber drives to town, a lot of sweat, early mornings, late nights, fornetti, coffees but also good times with new friends! This video wasn't just created by me but with the help of a lot of friends and family, so thank you. Let me know what you think 🇭🇷🌴💦❤️
