Reporter/Producer/Fill-in Anchor: National Political Talk Program

National TV political talk show seeks reporter/producer/fill-in anchor who eats, sleeps and dreams national conservative politics. Candidates must have strong writing skills, on-air skills, inter-personal skills, phone skills, organizational skills, communication skills and must be able to work under a daily deadline. Candidates must have a news producing background with the ability to set up high-profile interviews for live-to-tape TV along with a strong passion for news and politics. Candidates must enjoy the bonus of being paid in Southern California sunshine.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Report daily on air political news stories
  • Conduct interviews in house via skype & Ulive
  • Search and locate political news videos for daily broadcast
  • Produce political news segments
  • Grasp and execute “program philosophy & vision” into the daily story line-up
  • Generate story ideas, cultivate news sources/contributors and remain knowledgeable on daily and on-going political events and politicians in the news
  • Ability to work closely with producers, editors, production crew and program host
  • Must be a great communicator

DC Based – Weekend Political News Correspondent
One America News is seeking an experienced political news correspondent for reporting on national political news from our nation’s capital. The position requires daily news package creation. DC Based – News and Talk Show Booker
Your future is here. Join a growing national cable news organization. One America News is seeking a dedicated full-time, DC based, outgoing individual to book high-profile politicians and news makers for appearance on political talk shows and news programs. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships or direct booking expertise with leading politicians and news makers. You will work closely with staff segment producers and political news correspondents. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required. For this position only, please send resume to .

Director/Technical Director
Will direct, program/code, and oversee the production of daily automated newscasts. May also be called upon to work on various production roles for other One America News or AWE programs. Experience directing live automated newscasts or live television preferred.

Production Assistant
Daily tasks include but are not limited to working with producers and the news team to help with all in-house productions, build playback reels, dubbing/archiving footage, patching/routing HD-SDI video and audio signals for various in-studio productions, editing news packages, and helping with various jobs needed to accomplish daily programming deadlines. Knowledge of basic television studio and control room operations are necessary.

News Director
Will be tasked with managing One America News Network’s newsroom. This includes overseeing the creation of newscast content and the management newsroom staff. Candidates should have prior newsroom management experience.

News Writer/Associate Producer
Assist anchors and producers with news writing and rundown stacking for our daily newscasts. May be asked to produce newscasts and other content as needed. Understanding of news writing techniques are necessary. Newscast producing experience and experience with AP ENPS a plus.

News Video Editor
Edit news video and anchor/reporter packages using Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere while following standard journalism principles and anchor/reporter instructions. Editors must be able to work under tight deadlines. Must also have experience with non-linear video editing.

Anchor/Reporter
Will produce and anchor daily newscasts. Understanding of news writing and journalism standards are a must. Candidates must also have the ability to ad-lib during live breaking news situations and work well with writers and producers. Experience with AP ENPS is a plus.
