William Edgar "Bill" Oddie OBE (born 7 July 1941) is an English writer, composer, musician, comedian, artist, ornithologist, conservationist and television presenter. He became famous as one of The Goodies.
A birdwatcher since his childhood in Quinton, Birmingham, Oddie has established a reputation as an ornithologist, conservationist, and television presenter on wildlife issues. Some of his books are illustrated with his own paintings and drawings. His wildlife programmes for the BBC include: Springwatch/Autumnwatch, How to Watch Wildlife, Wild In Your Garden, Birding with Bill Oddie, Britain Goes Wild with Bill Oddie and Bill Oddie Goes Wild.
Oddie's father was assistant chief accountant at the Midlands Electricity Board. His mother was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and during most of his youth lived in a hospital. He was educated at Lapal Primary School, Halesowen Grammar School (now The Earls High School, Halesowen) and King Edward's School, Birmingham, an all-boys independent school, where he captained the school's rugby union team. He then studied English Literature at Pembroke College, University of Cambridge.
Bill may refer to:
The Goodies are a trio of British comedians: Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden, and Bill Oddie. They wrote for and performed in their eponymous surreal comedy show during the 1970s and early 1980s, combining sketches and situation comedy.
The three actors met each other as undergraduates at Cambridge University, where Brooke-Taylor was studying law, Garden was studying medicine, and Oddie was studying English. Their contemporaries included Graham Chapman, John Cleese, and Eric Idle, who later became members of Monty Python, and with whom they became close friends. Brooke-Taylor and Cleese studied together and swapped lecture notes as they were both law students, but at different colleges within the university. All three Goodies became members of the Cambridge University Footlights Club, with Brooke-Taylor becoming president in 1963, and Garden succeeding him as president in 1964.
Garden himself was succeeded as Footlights Club president in 1965 by Idle, who had initially become aware of the Footlights when he auditioned for a Pembroke College "smoker" for Brooke-Taylor and Oddie.
Do You may refer to:
"You Think" is a song performed by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. It was released on August 19, 2015 as the third single from the group's fifth studio album Lion Heart by S.M. Entertainment.
"You Think" was described by Jeff Benjamin from Billboard as a hip hop-friendly song featuring trap beats. Meanwhile, Arirang deemed it a "powerful pop dance song". The song's arrangement features high-pitched belts and brassy horns that were described to "create subtle, siren-like tones on the irresistible dance break." Lyrically, the song expresses a woman's warning towards a former male lover, who spreads bad rumors about her after they have broken up. In an interview, Girls' Generation member Seohyun described the song as an opportunity to "demonstrate Girls' Generation's performance and vocal skills properly".
The video has Girls' Generation members portrayed as cool, mature women with the choreography of the song being the main highlight.
The music video received positive reviews.

Wildlife presenter Bill Oddie chats to us in his London home with themes ranging from the BBC, sport and politics, to his retired life and future plans. He outlines his hate for ties, his desire for people to engage more with the environment, and his ideas for future population control. He highlights his enthusiasm for the younger generation, and explains why only socialising with people his age would be "dreadful". Here, Bill talks to 500+ visitors at Newquay Zoo to talk about the history of zoos and the work the British & Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) are doing to focus on conservation, education & research. "Good zoos play an important role in conservation. This seems to be the case for BIAZA zoos; good zoos know it's no longer acceptable to just say "here's some animals...come along and wonder at them. At the same time, they are raising funds for captive breeding programmes for endangered species and reintroducing them to the wild. Let's also not forget that zoos offer people what could be their first contact with animals. Go on...love your zoo!" For more about Love Your Zoo, visit: ...
