    Only if it was as simple as shifting a building. Whoever planned these places clearly failed to see the real estate boom coming in Islamabad.

    Yes there should be no exceptions. Military installations should be at deserted places where there is no local population. Only green fields. All existing structures can be sold to private developers and it would take a lot less to shift to deserted areas.

    Or not allow residential projects to take place in the vicinity of such important installations. Relocating the ISI HQ elsewhere to a suitable location will cost us taxpayers millions of dollars.

    All such sensitive installations / residences should be shifted to lesser populated area to avoid any such conflict with public interest. Unfortunately in Pakistan almost all sensitive offices/buildings are built and operated within densely populated areas.
