Thousands of far-right bigots will be joining anti-Muslim hate preachers Tommy Robinson and Milo Yiannopolous to march through central London on 6 May.
They are hiding behind ‘freedom of speech’, trying to appear legitimate while continuing to push their bigoted, racist and violent views.
We will continue to oppose all forms of hate speech which mobilises and spreads violence against minorities in our society.
...We cannot let the far-right march through our city unopposed. We must never allow racist and fascist views to take hold anywhere.
The more we are, the more we can drown out their nonsense.

In 2013 Mohammed Saleem was murdered by White Supremacist, Pavlo Lapshyn. When you look into it, we've had multiple Muslims murdered by fascists in the UK over the last 5 years, maybe dozens.
When people like Tommy Robinson and his gaggle of shock value losers spend hours manipulating a discourse around othering and dehumanising Muslims, this is what happens. You can't ignore how the people who preach fascism, breed fascism. The state encourages Muslim hatred so the public c...an be comfortable with how few refugees we take in and how many Muslim countries we attack.
How can we live in a society more worried about the sensitivities of 'free speech' for fascists (an abstract idea that isn't without context and consequence) than it is about literally stopping the murders of Muslims? When did free speech = hate speech?
This is why we need to all get our butts out next Sunday. We need to get together and stand against fascism. Because when we don't, it grows.

It's like all the shittiest bits of American alt-right that have blossomed in Trump's America trying to do the same thing over here. Manosphere misogynists, anti-muslim bigots, "race realists", people who "joke" about rape and the Holocaust, apologists for paedophilia…
They are pushing for normalisation of hate speech. We've seen where this goes in the USA. You get Milo Yiannopoulos shouting about how he must have the right to speak in places where he's not wanted, and then you get Charlottesville, Nazis marching with torches & burning swastikas.
They are trying to build a movement. They must be opposed.
They have changed their event from a march from Speakers Corner to a rally in Whitehall at 3pm.

So Sun May 6th, the far-right are holding a "Day for Freedom" in Speakers Corner and then marching to Twitter HQ. Every wannabe "free speech" warrior on the far-right is joining in.
They made a video of themselves with gaffer tape over their mouths. Guess who else propagandised about not being allowed to stir hatred against minority groups?

Looks like a grand total of 20 turned out for the "Gays Against Sharia" march in Bristol today. Surrounded by cops. With vans. And horses. And drones.
According to @SabCharlie to twitter:
"Apparently the pub the were meeting at has closed, so the fash are just stood outside the train station looking glum!
...The police are now so concerned about the safety of fash who come to Bristol that they'll barely let them out of the train station. I'd count that as a bit of a win."
They intended to march from Bristol temple meads train station to the centre. Due to opposition they are now being forced to do their speeches in a car park behind the station.

Reminder of what Far Right rhetoric actually is and where it directly leads. Free speech =/= hate speech. Yep, this is a US post, but here in the UK Bijan Ebrahimi, Jo Cox, Mushin Ahmed, Makram Ali (and more) have been murdered by outright racists and fascists in the last 5 years alone.

According to him "It’s now impossible for me to safely go out for lunch in most major cities in America". When the entire point of you is to be a controversialist and a provocateur it's hard to play the victim.

The ever-more-obviously far-right FLA are tur...ning out to support him. Milo Yiannopoulos, after being no platformed across the USA is flying in to try his luck in London. It's a coming together of various factions of the far-right and will probably get large numbers.
