Okay... Your Tripod is NOT the Place to Cut Corners. After being frustrated with trying highly rated sub $100 tripods from Amazon, I did more homework on and found this reasonably priced gem that is used by the Pros.

Today we're going to be looking at the Canon Rebel T3i or the 600D, as its known outside the US. This is currently Canon's least expensive DSLR and is equipped with the 18MP APS-C sensor that canon uses in most of its entry level EOS DSLRs. Our test unit is equipped with an 18-55mm kit lens that has image stabilization. There's also a 18-135mm kit lens available.
Let's first take a look at the T3i camera body itself. On the front right hand side of the Canon Rebel T3i is lens lock release button, the flash button is above that and the depth of field preview button is below it. Above these buttons and further to the right is the built in microphone. Right in the middle of the front face is the mirror and beneath it is the image sensor. And both these are enclosed by the canon EF lens mount. Slightly to the left of that is the self-timer lamp and the remote control sensor which is located on the camera grip. Now, the remote control sensor lets you use a wireless remote to activate the shutter on the Canon T3i. On the left hand side is a very well-designed SD card slot which makes inserting and removing the card from the T3i a breeze.
On the top right hand side of the Canon T3i you have the shutter, the main adjuster dial, a display on/off button and the iso button. Slightly further back you have the main on/off button and the mode dial which incorporates the video shooting mode amongst other shooting modes. To the left of this dial is the hot shoe mount and the flash which pops up when needed or intentionally turned on. And there's also two strap mounts on either side of the T3i.
The rear face has has the digital zoom in and zoom out buttons on the right and the live view button on the left. The live view button is also the movie record button. Beneath this is is the aperture adjustment button, the quick-menu button and beneath that are a set of buttons to quickly adjust white balance, shooting modes, autofocus modes and picture styles. And all the way down to the right are the playback and delete buttons. And almost in the center of the rear face is the viewfinder and its dioptric adjustment knob. And to the left of the viewfinder are the menu and info buttons. And last but not least is the extremely helpful swiveling LCD screen.
The bottom of the Canon Rebel T3i has the ¼-20 tripod thread and to the right in the battery compartment with Canon's LP-E8 battery. The battery compartment door could use a slightly better design, as it is a bit annoying to open.

Q&A; Description: This is a run and gun test of the Canon T3i for anybody who would be interested in buying such a camera. It's a great entry level DSLR. I colour correct some footage, compared flat image with colour correction, and some are just flat. This was shot with a 50mm/ 1.8f lens. I did not have my tripod with me so I used Warp Stabilizer. This was editing with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
-After editing, and colour correction: I exported this video as H.264 to preserve some quality, and to lower how much space it took up.
-The music within this video is our own that was produced by Colby in a low budget studio at the time. Feel free to use it AS LONG as you give us credit, and a shout out.
-Shot at 24fps.
-Camera is 18MP.
-Used Magic Bullet for colour correction
-There is a bit of "wobbliness" in some parts of the video, this is not the camera itself, it is because I had no tripod so I used Adobe Warp Stabilizer to stabilize each image. Some of them worked great, some of them, not so much. Proof that you should always have a tripod.
-To repeat myself, the editing software I use is Adobe Premiere Pro. I only used Adobe After Effects for the Warp Stabilizer. (I do use both frequently though.
-DSLR's typically record for about 12 minutes at a time, including this one. It's one of the disadvantages a DSLR has over a camcorder (Which records until out of memory or battery).
-Shot at 2:41 was made in my car while carefully driving with someone holding the camera very still. It was then stabilized in After Effects.

Vlogging with the Canon T3i is next level!!! It's about time I laid my hands on one of the best beginner DSLR's (Canon EOS Rebel T3i) on the market! I've been making action videos and some minor vlogging with my GoPro's since I began making videos! This is my first time shooting with the awesome Canon T3i as well as my first time making my most legit vlog yet! I still use my GoPro however now it's just for the action stuff, like doggy cam you'll see in the video! Enjoy!

Canon EOS 600D
The Canon EOS 600D is an 18.0 megapixel digital single-lens reflex camera, released by Canon on 7 February 2011. It is known as the EOS Kiss X5 in Japan and the EOS Rebel T3i in the Americas. The 600D is the second Canon EOS camera with an articulating LCD screen and supersedes the 550D, although the earlier model was not discontinued until June 2012, when the successor of the 600D, the 650D, was announced.

- One reviewer concluded that this feature takes a 1920×1080 crop from the middle of the sensor frame for the "3×" zoom, but was unable to confirm this with Canon. Canon EOS
Canon EOS (Electro-Optical System) is an autofocus single-lens reflex camera (SLR) camera series produced by Canon Inc.. Introduced in 1987 with the Canon EOS 650, all EOS cameras used 35 mm film until October 1996 when the EOS IX was released using the new and short-lived APS (Advantix/IX) film. In 2000, the D30 was announced, as the first digital SLR designed and produced entirely by Canon. Since 2005, all newly announced EOS cameras have used digital image sensors rather than film. This is currently Canon's least expensive DSLR and is equipped with the 18MP APS-C sensor that canon uses in most of its entry level EOS DSLRs. Our test unit is equipped with an 18-55mm kit lens that has image stabilization. There's also a 18-135mm kit lens available. Let's first take a look at the T3i camera body itself. On the front right hand side of the Canon Rebel T3i is lens lock release button, the flash button is above that and the depth of field preview button is below it. Above these buttons and further to the right is the built in microphone. Right in the middle of the front face is the mirror and beneath it is the image sensor. And both these are enclosed by the canon EF lens mount. Slightly to the left of that is the self-timer lamp and the remote control sensor which is located on the camera grip. Now, the remote control sensor lets you use a wireless remote to activate the shutter on the Canon T3i. On the left hand side is a very well-designed SD card slot which makes inserting and removing the card from the T3i a breeze. On the top right hand side of the Canon T3i you have the shutter, the main adjuster dial, a display on/off button and the iso button. Slightly further back you have the main on/off button and the mode dial which incorporates the video shooting mode amongst other shooting modes. To the left of this dial is the hot shoe mount and the flash which pops up when needed or intentionally turned on. And there's also two strap mounts on either side of the T3i. The rear face has has the digital zoom in and zoom out buttons on the right and the live view button on the left. The live view button is also the movie record button. Beneath this is is the aperture adjustment button, the quick-menu button and beneath that are a set of buttons to quickly adjust white balance, shooting modes, autofocus modes and picture styles. And all the way down to the right are the playback and delete buttons. And almost in the center of the rear face is the viewfinder and its dioptric adjustment knob. And to the left of the viewfinder are the menu and info buttons. And last but not least is the extremely helpful swiveling LCD screen. The bottom of the Canon Rebel T3i has the ¼-20 tripod thread and to the right in the battery compartment with Canon's LP-E8 battery. The battery compartment door could use a slightly better design, as it is a bit annoying to open. -

Q&A; Description: This is a run and gun test of the Canon T3i for anybody who would be interested in buying such a camera. It's a great entry level DSLR. I colour correct some footage, compared flat image with colour correction, and some are just flat. This was shot with a 50mm/ 1.8f lens. I did not have my tripod with me so I used Warp Stabilizer. This was editing with Adobe Premiere and After Effects. -After editing, and colour correction: I exported this video as H.264 to preserve some quality, and to lower how much space it took up. -The music within this video is our own that was produced by Colby in a low budget studio at the time. Feel free to use it AS LONG as you give us credit, and a shout out. -Shot at 24fps. -Camera is 18MP. -Used Magic Bullet for colour correction -There is a bit of "wobbliness" in some parts of the video, this is not the camera itself, it is because I had no tripod so I used Adobe Warp Stabilizer to stabilize each image. Some of them worked great, some of them, not so much. Proof that you should always have a tripod. -To repeat myself, the editing software I use is Adobe Premiere Pro. I only used Adobe After Effects for the Warp Stabilizer. (I do use both frequently though. -DSLR's typically record for about 12 minutes at a time, including this one. It's one of the disadvantages a DSLR has over a camcorder (Which records until out of memory or battery). -Shot at 2:41 was made in my car while carefully driving with someone holding the camera very still. Q&A; Description: This is a run and gun test of the Canon T3i for anybody who would be interested in buying such a camera. It's a great entry level DSLR. I colour correct some footage, compared flat image with colour correction, and some are just flat. This was shot with a 50mm/ 1.8f lens. I did not have my tripod with me so I used Warp Stabilizer. This was editing with Adobe Premiere and After Effects. -After editing, and colour correction: I exported this video as H.264 to preserve some quality, and to lower how much space it took up. -The music within this video is our own that was produced by Colby in a low budget studio at the time. Today we're going to be looking at the Canon Rebel T3i or the 600D, as its known outside the US. This is currently Canon's least expensive DSLR and is equipped with the 18MP APS-C sensor that canon uses in most of its entry level EOS DSLRs. Our test unit is equipped with an 18-55mm kit lens that has image stabilization. There's also a 18-135mm kit lens available.
Let's first take a look at the T3i camera body itself. On the front right hand side of the Canon Rebel T3i is lens lock release button, the flash button is above that and the depth of field preview button is below it. Above these buttons and further to the right is the built in microphone. Right in the middle of the front face is the mirror and beneath it is the image sensor. And both these are enclosed by the canon EF lens mount. Slightly to the left of that is the self-timer lamp and the remote control sensor which is located on the camera grip. Now, the remote control sensor lets you use a wireless remote to activate the shutter on the Canon T3i. On the left hand side is a very well-designed SD card slot which makes inserting and removing the card from the T3i a breeze.
On the top right hand side of the Canon T3i you have the shutter, the main adjuster dial, a display on/off button and the iso button. Slightly further back you have the main on/off button and the mode dial which incorporates the video shooting mode amongst other shooting modes. To the left of this dial is the hot shoe mount and the flash which pops up when needed or intentionally turned on. And there's also two strap mounts on either side of the T3i.
The rear face has has the digital zoom in and zoom out buttons on the right and the live view button on the left. The live view button is also the movie record button. Beneath this is is the aperture adjustment button, the quick-menu button and beneath that are a set of buttons to quickly adjust white balance, shooting modes, autofocus modes and picture styles. And all the way down to the right are the playback and delete buttons. And almost in the center of the rear face is the viewfinder and its dioptric adjustment knob. And to the left of the viewfinder are the menu and info buttons. And last but not least is the extremely helpful swiveling LCD screen.
The bottom of the Canon Rebel T3i has the ¼-20 tripod thread and to the right in the battery compartment with Canon's LP-E8 battery. The battery compartment door could use a slightly better design, as it is a bit annoying to open.

On the front right hand side of the Canon Rebel T3i is lens lock release button, the flash button is above that and the depth of field preview button is below it. Above these buttons and further to the right is the built in microphone. Right in the middle of the front face is the mirror and beneath it is the image sensor. And both these are enclosed by the canon EF lens mount. Slightly to the left of that is the self-timer lamp and the remote control sensor which is located on the camera grip. Now, the remote control sensor lets you use a wireless remote to activate the shutter on the Canon T3i. On the left hand side is a very well-designed SD card slot which makes inserting and removing the card from the T3i a breeze.
On the top right hand side of the Canon T3i you have the shutter, the main adjuster dial, a display on/off button and the iso button. Slightly further back you have the main on/off button and the mode dial which incorporates the video shooting mode amongst other shooting modes. To the left of this dial is the hot shoe mount and the flash which pops up when needed or intentionally turned on. And there's also two strap mounts on either side of the T3i.
The rear face has has the digital zoom in and zoom out buttons on the right and the live view button on the left. The live view button is also the movie record button. Beneath this is is the aperture adjustment button, the quick-menu button and beneath that are a set of buttons to quickly adjust white balance, shooting modes, autofocus modes and picture styles. And all the way down to the right are the playback and delete buttons. And almost in the center of the rear face is the viewfinder and its dioptric adjustment knob. And to the left of the viewfinder are the menu and info buttons. And last but not least is the extremely helpful swiveling LCD screen.
The bottom of the Canon Rebel T3i has the ¼-20 tripod thread and to the right in the battery compartment with Canon's LP-E8 battery. The battery compartment door could use a slightly better design, as it is a bit annoying to open.

Q&A; Description: This is a run and gun test of the Canon T3i for anybody who would be interested in buying such a camera. It's a great entry level DSLR. I colour correct some footage, compared flat image with colour correction, and some are just flat. This was shot with a 50mm/ 1.8f lens. I did not have my tripod with me so I used Warp Stabilizer. This was editing with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
-After editing, and colour correction: I exported this video as H.264 to preserve some quality, and to lower how much space it took up.
-The music within this video is our own that was produced by Colby in a low budget studio at the time. Feel free to use it AS LONG as you give us credit, and a shout out.
-Shot at 24fps.
-Camera is 18MP.
-Used Magic Bullet for colour correction
-There is a bit of "wobbliness" in some parts of the video, this is not the camera itself, it is because I had no tripod so I used Adobe Warp Stabilizer to stabilize each image. Some of them worked great, some of them, not so much. Proof that you should always have a tripod.
-To repeat myself, the editing software I use is Adobe Premiere Pro. I only used Adobe After Effects for the Warp Stabilizer. (I do use both frequently though.
-DSLR's typically record for about 12 minutes at a time, including this one. It's one of the disadvantages a DSLR has over a camcorder (Which records until out of memory or battery).
-Shot at 2:41 was made in my car while carefully driving with someone holding the camera very still. It was then stabilized in After Effects.

Vlogging with the Canon T3i is next level!!! It's about time I laid my hands on one of the best beginner DSLR's (Canon EOS Rebel T3i) on the market! I've been making action videos and some minor vlogging with my GoPro's since I began making videos! This is my first time shooting with the awesome Canon T3i as well as my first time making my most legit vlog yet! Today we're going to be looking at the Canon Rebel T3i or the 600D, as its known outside the US. This is currently Canon's least expensive DSLR and is equipped with the 18MP APS-C sensor that canon uses in most of its entry level EOS DSLRs. Our test unit is equipped with an 18-55mm kit lens that has image stabilization. There's also a 18-135mm kit lens available.
Let's first take a look at the T3i camera body itself. On the front right hand side of the Canon Rebel T3i is lens lock release button, the flash button is above that and the depth of field preview button is below it. Above these buttons and further to the right is the built in microphone. Right in the middle of the front face is the mirror and beneath it is the image sensor. And both these are enclosed by the canon EF lens mount. Slightly to the left of that is the self-timer lamp and the remote control sensor which is located on the camera grip. Now, the remote control sensor lets you use a wireless remote to activate the shutter on the Canon T3i. On the left hand side is a very well-designed SD card slot which makes inserting and removing the card from the T3i a breeze.
On the top right hand side of the Canon T3i you have the shutter, the main adjuster dial, a display on/off button and the iso button. Slightly further back you have the main on/off button and the mode dial which incorporates the video shooting mode amongst other shooting modes. To the left of this dial is the hot shoe mount and the flash which pops up when needed or intentionally turned on. And there's also two strap mounts on either side of the T3i.
The rear face has has the digital zoom in and zoom out buttons on the right and the live view button on the left. The live view button is also the movie record button. Beneath this is is the aperture adjustment button, the quick-menu button and beneath that are a set of buttons to quickly adjust white balance, shooting modes, autofocus modes and picture styles. And all the way down to the right are the playback and delete buttons. And almost in the center of the rear face is the viewfinder and its dioptric adjustment knob. And to the left of the viewfinder are the menu and info buttons. And last but not least is the extremely helpful swiveling LCD screen.
The bottom of the Canon Rebel T3i has the ¼-20 tripod thread and to the right in the battery compartment with Canon's LP-E8 battery. The battery compartment door could use a slightly better design, as it is a bit annoying to open.

On the top right hand side of the Canon T3i you have the shutter, the main adjuster dial, a display on/off button and the iso button. Slightly further back you have the main on/off button and the mode dial which incorporates the video shooting mode amongst other shooting modes. To the left of this dial is the hot shoe mount and the flash which pops up when needed or intentionally turned on. And there's also two strap mounts on either side of the T3i.
The rear face has has the digital zoom in and zoom out buttons on the right and the live view button on the left. The live view button is also the movie record button. Beneath this is is the aperture adjustment button, the quick-menu button and beneath that are a set of buttons to quickly adjust white balance, shooting modes, autofocus modes and picture styles. And all the way down to the right are the playback and delete buttons. And almost in the center of the rear face is the viewfinder and its dioptric adjustment knob. And to the left of the viewfinder are the menu and info buttons. And last but not least is the extremely helpful swiveling LCD screen.
The bottom of the Canon Rebel T3i has the ¼-20 tripod thread and to the right in the battery compartment with Canon's LP-E8 battery. The battery compartment door could use a slightly better design, as it is a bit annoying to open.

Q&A; Description: This is a run and gun test of the Canon T3i for anybody who would be interested in buying such a camera. It's a great entry level DSLR. I colour correct some footage, compared flat image with colour correction, and some are just flat. This was shot with a 50mm/ 1.8f lens. I did not have my tripod with me so I used Warp Stabilizer. This was editing with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
-After editing, and colour correction: I exported this video as H.264 to preserve some quality, and to lower how much space it took up.
-The music within this video is our own that was produced by Colby in a low budget studio at the time. Feel free to use it AS LONG as you give us credit, and a shout out.
-Shot at 24fps.
-Camera is 18MP.
-Used Magic Bullet for colour correction
-There is a bit of "wobbliness" in some parts of the video, this is not the camera itself, it is because I had no tripod so I used Adobe Warp Stabilizer to stabilize each image. Some of them worked great, some of them, not so much. Proof that you should always have a tripod.
-To repeat myself, the editing software I use is Adobe Premiere Pro. I only used Adobe After Effects for the Warp Stabilizer. (I do use both frequently though.
-DSLR's typically record for about 12 minutes at a time, including this one. It's one of the disadvantages a DSLR has over a camcorder (Which records until out of memory or battery).
-Shot at 2:41 was made in my car while carefully driving with someone holding the camera very still. It was then stabilized in After Effects.
