Our current system is like an abandoned parking lot. Asphalt was laid, killing life and turning everything into a homogenous blackness, a dead sameness. The levers of maintaining this have broken down. No one is coming to touch up the asphalt. In abandoned parking lots, cracks form and life grows from the cracks.

Some context--

After the Paris attacks in November, an announcement was made by some government/police officials, saying that they had bigger problems and so a theoretical January eviction of the ZAD was postponed to fight ISIS. They don't have enough police to do both, but they didn't choose to make that public.

Why we are opposed to the expropriation judge coming to the zad on tuesday the 22nd

The government declared they no longer want to wait for the legal appeals (related to the airport project) to finish, which means they are breaking the engagements made in 2012 and in 2014.

They chose to begin by putting pressure back on people renting on the zad, and sending the expropriation judge to their houses.

Friday morning, November 21st at 9am, 50 people that claimed to be part of a movement that denounces and organizes against police and military violence, notably all the eyes that have been lost to flashballs and the death of Rémi Fraisse, made a symbolic action to close down the police station in Sautron.
