Assistant Administrator and Director, Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy
The Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy (BERA) is responsible for UNDP’s external relations and advocacy functions. The Bureau leads and supports the organization in cultivating, building and nurturing strategic relationships and alliances that are essential for advancing and successfully achieving the mission of UNDP.
 

Assistant Administrator and Director, Crisis Response Unit
The Crisis Response Unit (CRU) has corporate responsibility to represent UNDP on crisis related issues, which entails coordinating and facilitating UNDP’s crisis response with a whole-of-UNDP approach. At policy level CRU engages with a broad range of UN and non-UN partners and inter-agency fora, in particular in relation to the nexus and the New Way of Working.
 

Assistant Administrator and Director, Regional Bureau for Africa
Encompassing 46 countries, the Regional Bureau for Africa (RBA) is UNDP’s largest Regional Bureau. With its headquarters in New York, and one regional Service Centre in Addis Ababa, it covers almost one third of the countries in crisis or post-crisis situations.  
 

Assistant Administrator and Director, Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS  
The Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS (RBEC) serves 29 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. With its headquarters in New York, RBEC comprises 17 country offices and one Regional Service Centre in Istanbul. It also provides programme/project services to eight other countries.
