Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy (ファイナルファンタジー, Fainaru Fantajī) is a science fiction and fantasy media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and developed and owned by Square Enix (formerly Square). The franchise centers on a series of fantasy and science fantasy role-playing video games (RPGs). Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VII (Japanese: ファイナルファンタジーVII, Hepburn: Fainaru Fantajī Sebun) is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) for the PlayStation platform. Released in 1997, it is the seventh installment in the Final Fantasy series and the first in the series to use 3D computer graphics, featuring fully rendered characters on pre-rendered backgrounds. It was also the first game in the main series to be released in Europe. The story follows Cloud Strife, a mercenary who joins the eco-terrorist rebel organization AVALANCHE to stop the world-controlling megacorporation Shinra from draining the life of the planet to use as an energy source. Cloud and his allies become involved in a larger world-threatening conflict and face off against Sephiroth, the main antagonist.
Development of Final Fantasy VII began in 1994. It was originally developed for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, but was moved to the Nintendo 64; since the Nintendo 64's cartridges lacked the required storage capacity for substantial prerendered movie footage, Square moved the game to the CD-ROM based PlayStation. It was directed by Yoshinori Kitase, written by Kazushige Nojima and Kitase, and produced by Hironobu Sakaguchi. The music was composed by Final Fantasy veteran Nobuo Uematsu, while the series' long-time character designer, Yoshitaka Amano, was replaced by Tetsuya Nomura.

GameTrailers
GameTrailers (also known as GT) was a media website that specialized in video game related content. It provided free access to original programming (such as reviews and previews), game trailers and recorded game play. Along with standard definition, many of the video clips were offered in high resolution.(HD)
Users could upload/watch videos, create blogs, and participate in forums. On the past version of GameTrailers users could join and create factions, which had their own private forums. Factions were cut when the website was revamped, along with the GTD currency system, as well as forum levels.
On February 8, 2016, it was announced on Twitter and Facebook that GameTrailers would be shutting down after 13 years online.
Content history
GameTrailers' first version of its magazine style show was GT Weekly and premiered in August 2005, hosted by Amanda MacKay and Daniel Kayser. After 44 episodes, in March 2007, the show was rebranded as GameOne and given a live chat where viewers could talk about the show.

I was thinking the other day how unrealistic it would be to expect too much news about this and FF7 remake, but then realised that these games were announced a year and a half ago(!). For FF7 at least it was being worked on prior to announcement, so it's already had a minimum 2 year development time. So we can really expect to get these games in the next 12 months or so. Awesome. I could see 1-9 in a set for about $99, maybe $149 w/ a book or something. Or maybe just digitally. Though I think they work better as sets of 3, 1-3, 4-6, 7-9. I'm still surprised they offered FFXV on a SLIM for $449 when you could get the game and a PRO for $459 ... And as much as I've been waiting almost 20 years for that FF7 remake, I'll probably hold out for the collection on PS5 in 4k if it's more than 2 games 12 months apart ... ....

Xbox at E3 2016. In any other year, Microsoft would have been the clear winner with what it showed at E3 2015. Gears of War 4, the Xbox Elite Controller and the unexpected delight of Xbox One backwards compatibility were great highlights ... Go heavy on hardware ... Partnerships ... If that's the case, Microsoft needs to make sure that's loudly communicated in the run up to this year's holiday season (even if the FF7 remake doesn't land in 2017)....

Sony at E3 2016. What we want to see ... The usual lineup of big games just won't do this year, though. To steal the show, Sony will have to perform a pretty tough juggling act ... VR. Sony's ace in the hole (or on your face) ... PlayStation VR ... Specifically, The Last Guardian should be playable to the E3-going public, and FF7 should have some sort of extended (and nostalgia-inducing) gameplay section played during the presser ...
