When entering the Sounds Good app for the first time, you will be asked to register your native language. From there, Sounds Good will take care of your learning process and customize all exercises to your needs. It will provide you with the listening and speaking exercises that will be most effective for you to work on.
SAME SAME, BUT IMPORTANTLY DIFFERENT
Some sounds in a foreign language may sound very similar to you, but being able to hear and pronounce the difference is important in order to communicate well. Based on our extensive knowledge about your native language from several years of research at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Sounds Good identifies the sounds you may find hard to distinguish and need to practice the most. You will be given fun game-based tasks where you practice both hearing and pronouncing the difference between to words with similar sounds.
