Our Goals

UNDP supports Myanmar’s reform programme through which more responsibilities and resources regarding service delivery and governance are gradually being transferred from the union government to the state/region government and township administrations. UNDP aims to strengthen responsive sub national governance structures and processes and to provide an integrated package of development assistance for improvement of local governance in rural areas of Myanmar with high poverty incidence and in border and ceasefire areas.
