The UK Department of International Development (DFID) adds additional £21.5 million grant to the Zimbabwe Resilience Building Fund
Zimbabwe received US $ 502 million additional healthcare funding from the Global Fund to support HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria programmes for the next three years. The grants which will be implemented by the Ministry of Health and Child and Child Care (MOHCC) and UN in collaboration with Civil Society Organizations and the National AIDS Council (NAC).
The first round of consultations in the urban sector on the implementation of National Adapatation Plan (NAP) to climate change took off to a smooth start on 23 November, 2017 with a call for partnerships to improve the resilience of cities to climate change impacts, and support clean and climate smart urban investments.
With 1 million people living with HIV now in treatment, antiretroviral therapy is saving lives and securing futures.
UNDP is working with The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB & Malaria to support the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare to switch clinics and district hospitals across the country from the grid to solar power
