If your event aligns with our sponsorship goals, someone from GitHub will be in touch.
We most frequently sponsor events that benefit developers and the broader tech community. User group meetings, conferences, events that encourage participation of people from underrepresented backgrounds and educational workshops (like Rails Girls) are all events we like to know about.
Because we receive so many requests, our team asks that you give us at least 2 months notice before your event. If you've missed it this year, we're happy to have a look next time.
It really depends on your circumstance. We provide a wide range of sponsorships that suit the goals of the event, so let's talk about it.
It's possible! Select "Request use of GitHub HQ" and tell us about your event. If your event is relevant to GitHub, benefits the community, and fits with our schedule then we'll follow up to work out the details.
So maybe you're set for sponsors, but you're looking for a speaker for your event. Let us know! We'd love to talk to you about that, too.
