Social Media Guidelines
The National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) uses social media to promote discussion and debate on topical issues relevant to our work. We welcome feedback and suggestions, and endeavour to respond to messages. All discussions on our pages must be tolerant of other people’s views.
Please adhere to our social media guidelines if you wish to contribute to our social media pages.
NACLC social media guidelines
All discussions, posts, comments and material on our sites must:
- comply with any relevant law
- be respectful of a diversity of opinions
- not vilify or attack individuals on the basis of personal characteristics
- be relevant to the topic under discussion
Have your say, but do not spam our pages or feeds with repeats of the same information. Advertising is not allowed.
Please understand that:
if you follow us on Twitter, we will not automatically follow you back. This is to discourage the use of direct messaging and spam.
NACLC encourages ‘friends,’ 'fans' and ‘followers’ on its pages, but this does not imply endorsement of any kind.
NACLC reserves the right to enforce these guidelines at our discretion. NACLC may remove any posted messages that it considers to be in breach of these guidelines and may ban or block repeat offenders. If you have any questions about these guidelines, please contact us at naclc@clc.net.au
