Urgent Call from HAMBACH FOREST
The courtcase which gave the Forest of Hambach a little more time to prepare for cutting season is lost. RWE started today with clearing bushes to prepare for total cutting. The preparations for an massive police action are obviously building. They announced that they want to evict the whole occupation. We expect them at the latest on Monday for evictions. They are already in the forest protecting machinery.
But to make it possible that Hambach Forest stays we need you and your frieds/comr@des!
At best come around.
At best bring with you:
– sleeping bag, mattress
– your friends
– an idea of what you wanna do (the Infrastructre of RWE is too huge for them to protect it all)
– waterproof boots, camouflage-clothing
– camera (for recording police violence)
– working gloves
– toothbrush
– 1st aid stuff
– rainstuff
– a small tent (not necessary but if you have)
– no drugs
– no passport (if you need it for travelling, bury it somewhere in the woods)
What you can do from outside:
– spread the news
– do what ever you like to show solidarity
– distract police forces (they will need cops from all germany to evict us)
– attack the veins of capitalism & its fossil fuel industry
– dont get caught
– dont forget them in the cages

Update on the trial of comrades Sven and Natasha (UK)

Sven and Natasha had a short court hearing at Winchester on Wednesday 8th November. After a long time of ongoing negotiations in the background, their legal teams were able to meet with the prosecution and settle on a deal for both defendants that they were relatively satisfied with. They agreed to a non-cooperative plea deal which involved admissions of guilt about their own activities within the ‘conspiracy‘.
They did not relate to any other people. As a result, Sven and Natasha both entered guilty pleas for ‘conspiracy to blackmail’, and were bailed to await sentencing.
This now means that there will be no trial or any further hearings, with exception of sentencing, a date for which is still due to be decided.
(We expect it to be mid December or the start of January)

Unfortunately the website is down because of some server issue beyond our control, but it is being fixed and will be live again by the end of the week, hopefully.

Call for solidarity and resistance – Hambach Forest (Germany)

Background
The start of October also marks the start of the annual cutting season – the time between October and February during which RWE has permission to clear the forest. The company cuts 70-80ha every year. But not much is left of the Hambach Forest, and the occupied trees are again very close to the clear-cut edge. In order to prevent that the majority of the remaining forest will be cut in the coming months, and the occupation from being evicted, we have to be many. That’s why we hope that as many people as possible can join us this Autumn and Winter – protecting the forest and actively working against climate change and the exploitation of people and the environment.
We have put together a call to action and translated it into different languages. Please help us spread it! (more…)

International Week of Action against Speciesism : Oct 30 – Nov 5

An international call for a week of action against speciesism, from October 30 and November 5, has been launched through social media. It encourages folks to carry out all kinds of actions, from street propaganda (paintings, posters, distribution of leaflets …) to workshops/forums and debates in your meeting spaces, to self-organizing various actions against specific businesses with the tools that each person may consider appropriate, to mass mobilizations and demonstrations.
May each one be organized as it suits each one involved, and may they shake all the cages. In memory of Barry Horne and all the human and nonhuman victims of speciesism and domination.
Both individual and collective measures of struggle are valid; from diffusion actions to mobilizations.
Solidarity between species is not just a written word!

Eco-anarchist comrades Billy, Costa and Silvia have trial process ended (Italy)

A few days ago the trial court in Turin held a hearing of the trial going on in the Italian state against eco-anarchist comrades Billy, Costa and Silvia. The Supreme Court confirmed the “non-procedural default of jurisdiction”, as already decided at first instance and in appeal, for the principle of not being able to process twice a defendant for the same act. It then closes once and for all, with this definitive decision, their affair in the state courts.

Singularity is a metaphor taken from physics by Ray Kurzweil, founder of Singularity University, to describe the technological process that will come to merge the human with technology. Therefore, the University of Singularity aims to prepare leaders to apply exponential technologies to respond adequately to the anthropological, social, ecological changes that the technologized world requires.
This is an objective that it is carrying out well of course, given that world leading transhumanist executives and researchers come out of it, and that some of them then join the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), one of the most important research universities in the world; the DARPA, a government agency of the US Department of Defence for the development of new military technology; Google; Microsoft, to name but a few…
Surely the fact that it is in Silicon Valley, on a piece of land of the NASA, and being partly financed by Google, is a further confirmation of how much the idea of the world it is proposing is shared with those who create and cause the conditions of the ecological and social disaster we find ourselves in. To this disaster then one would like to find a “solution”, putting something into it.
But there’s nothing to worry about! The thing seems to have been found and is an artificial and robotized thing. In fact through the use of technology is thought to be able to deal with what in this conference they call “the great challenges of humanity”: we are assured of the possibility of a radiant future. A future in response to the fear of death and the desire for immortality, promises of cures for diseases, the absorption of pollutants from the environment, the defeat of poverty and famine.
This fabulous prospect must, however, be bartered and the complete acceptance of this technologized world is being asked in exchange. (more…)

This is neither intended to be a retort nor an attempt to disarm any discourse, nor a criticism. It is a response to a series of threats received by email and I think this has made these people definitely touch the bottom and they cannot become more ridiculous.
There have been several critical texts and reflections from different parts of the world that have been raised in recent months against ITS in Mexico and in general against the tendency that calls themselves “eco-extremists”. We can read the contributions of insurrectionary anarchist groups in Mexico, as well as critiques of other comrades like Eat, in Indonesia, criticism made by one of the people who runs the blog ‘It’s Going Down!’ in North America, or the two texts published from the United Kingdom, titled “Eco-extremism and the Indiscriminate Attack – The Church of ITS Mexico” and “Darko Mathers was not an Eco-Fascist“. It was quite obvious that from that the “eco-extremist” tendency would be answered. After all, in recent years, the dialectic between different groups of direct action against domination (whether they consider themselves anarchists or not) has been constant, taking advantage of the actions to establish a fruitful dialogue that sharpens theory and practice, improving the blows of those people who were punctual and strategic or as an already unavoidable part of their lives, had opted to attack here and now. And of course, the replicas of the ITR (Individualities Tending toward the Ridiculous) did not wait, although I have to say that they were even more disappointing than we would have imagined at first (and that my expectations were difficult to overcome). Report of actions against New Yogyakarta International Airport (Indonesia)

From 08.00 this morning, Communities who joined in refusal (PWPP or Community Against Eviction – Kulon Progo) of the new airport development began gathering near heavy equipment located on the border of Glagah-Palian in order to block the equipment that will destroy the coastal areas. Fish farmers also participated to confront the heavy equipment that will destroy their ponds. At around 10.00am, approximately 500 police moved the people who were occupying the heavy equipment. The community was forced to retreat. The eviction and destruction of community land with heavy machinery continued from 11.00am. (more…)

Report Against ‘New Yogyakarta International Airport’ in Kulon Progo (Indonesia)

Since 8 August last week, particularly in Macanan Glagah area and 10 August heavy machinery were already operating within the compromised area (the area in which some community of peasants already sold their land and compromised with the project, although their relocation is still unsure) for the development of New Yogyakarta International Airport (NYIA). Despite community and peasant resistance against NYIA, the government and PT Angkasapura, cooperating with this large company from India as the airport major investor: GVK corporation. We urge comrades in India to communicate with us and build international solidarity..

Note: The struggle against NYIA is connected to the previous struggle of peasants in Kulon Progo against iron mining in which they won the struggle, not through legal means but through community grassroot struggle (riots, arrests, and massive international solidarity makes it difficult for the project to continue) that goes beyond the language of the state. It is sad to see “them” resorting to such incoherent, deluded, and even ahistorical if not unfactual analysis of contemporary anarchism and its various movements, successes and failures. It is even more sadder that the critique was poorly written. If the FAI never accomplished anything as the critique said, it is because FAI ideas were and are always to be put on trial of practice and its diverse variants. There is no monopoly of narrow individualism in the FAI as far as I comprehend it, as it is just an idea to encourage anarchists to attack with informal and antiorganisationalist forms (even this also is always within a context), because “it” [FAI] doesn’t believe in the binary logic that this critique does. While the critique seemed, at first, to try to dismiss a binary vision of the world it falls on the same mistakes when it doesn’t even know nor understand how they or their moralistic-triumphant-over-others-methods originated and empowered.
While I was in full support of ITS in attacking technocrats, NGOs, and its effort in deconstructing the western anarchist moralistic-christian tendency, they too fall to the same logic as their so “ideological enemies of gringo” anarchism. (more…)

I don’t represent any organisation or group, I am writing this from my personal perspective, as nihilist-anarchist of an anti-civilisation insurrectional tendency. I have carried out direct action in defense of the Earth, so the state and society would probably view me as an “Eco-Extremist”, although I’m unconcerned with this term as it’s become a sect-like ideology of the Church. I haven’t written before about the Church of ITS Mexico or the idiot pseudo-nihilist(s) in Italy because over the last few years they clearly became reactionary and more akin to far-right ‘black’ groupscules.
It has been some years since the Church of ITS Mexico said something like that ‘the FAI doesn’t represent us’, that the ‘CCF doesn’t represent us’… Well I can’t recall anything like that being said by CCF or FAI or anyone else in the first place, so why is the ITS Church still issuing sermons about it now and why have they not embarked on a one-way trip far away from the black anarchy they proclaim is irrelevant and gone off into the nihilising abyss like they said they would, leaving all us anarchist nuns alone?
