The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi waalihi wasalam) went to the companions and recited Surah ar Rahman but they were all quiet. He told them that he went to the jinn and recited it to them and they were responsive. And when he would recite the verses 'And which of the favours of the Lord will you deny' the jinn would respond 'There is nothing among your bounties that we can deny, all praise belong to Allah'

Allah-Rakha Rahman (
pronunciation , born A. S. Dileep Kumar on 6 January 1967) is an Indian composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, musician and philanthropist. Rahman's works are noted for integrating Eastern classical music with electronic music, world music and traditional orchestral arrangements. Among his awards are two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, four National Film Awards, fifteen Filmfare Awards and thirteen Filmfare Awards South. Rahman's body of work for film and stage has given him the nickname of "the Mozart of Madras", and Tamil commentators and fans call him Isai Puyal (English: the Musical Storm).
In 2009, Time included Rahman on its list of the world's most influential people. The UK-based world-music magazine Songlines named him one of "Tomorrow's World Music Icons" in August 2011.
With an in-house studio (Panchathan Record Inn in Chennai) Rahman's film-scoring career began during the early 1990s with the Tamil film Roja. Working in India's film industries, international cinema and theatre, Rahman is one of the world's all-time best-selling recording artists. In a notable two-decade career, he has been acclaimed for redefining contemporary Indian film music and contributing to the success of several films. Quran
The Quran (/kɔːrˈɑːn/kor-AHN; Arabic: القرآن al-qurʼān, literally meaning "the recitation"; also romanized Qur'an or Koran) is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God (Arabic: الله, Allah). It is widely regarded by Muslims as the finest piece of literature in the Arabic language . Quranic chapters are called suras and verses, ayahs.
Muslims believe the Quran was verbally revealed by God to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel (Jibril), gradually over a period of approximately 23 years, beginning on 22 December 609 CE, when Muhammad was 40, and concluding in 632, the year of his death. Muslims regard the Quran as the most important miracle of Muhammad, a proof of his prophethood, and the culmination of a series of divine messages that started with the messages revealed to Adam and ended with Muhammad. The word "Quran" occurs some 70 times in the text of the Quran, although different names and words are also said to be references to the Quran.

Thanthi TV ( is a 24-hour Tamil news satellite television channel based in Chennai, India. It is owned by Dina Thanthi.
History
NDTV Hindu was launched on 16 May 2009, owned by NDTV (51%) and The Hindu Group (49%). It was started as a Chennai city-specific English news and entertainment channel, broadcast only in Chennai.
After the Dina Thanthi group took over NDTV Hindu, it rebranded the channel as Thanthi TV. Initially it was a Chennai city specific channel but after the acquisition process was completed, it was rebranded and relaunched on 13 November 2012 as a 24-hour Tamil news channel which serves and broadcasts to Tamil Nadu, India.

After much delay, Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaoopam 2' has again surfaced online. The movie which serves as a sequel to 'Vishwaoopam' has been long in gestation because of remaining production work. Now the latest news is that the shoot has resumed from today onwards. The news comes in the midst of Kamal's controversial comments and political agendas. In another tidbit, Mani Rathnam has already started his work on his next film which is touted along the same lines of one his previous film 'Agni Natchathiram' and is said to be a multi-starrer one. AR Rahman, Vairamuthu and Mani Ratnam had a 5-day jamming session in Goa recently. We reached out to the spokes person to confirm the news and the following is the direct quote from the spokesperson, "The album will six tracks in total, all written by Vairamuthu. A.R. After much delay, Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaoopam 2' has again surfaced online. The movie which serves as a sequel to 'Vishwaoopam' has been long in gestation because of remaining production work. Now the latest news is that the shoot has resumed from today onwards. The news comes in the midst of Kamal's controversial comments and political agendas. In another tidbit, Mani Rathnam has already started his work on his next film which is touted along the same lines of one his previous film 'Agni Natchathiram' and is said to be a multi-starrer one. AR Rahman, Vairamuthu and Mani Ratnam had a 5-day jamming session in Goa recently. We reached out to the spokes person to confirm the news and the following is the direct quote from the spokesperson, "The album will six tracks in total, all written by Vairamuthu. A.R. Rahman has given us a rough composition for three of the tracks already. This will be another 'Agni Natchathiram' kind of film from Mani Ratnam". Curious! Check out the full video to know more.

The Holy Quran, Surah Ar Rahman, Chapter No. 55 Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (radiAllahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi waalihi wasalam) said, 'Everything has an adornment, and the adornment of the Qur'an is Surah ar Rahman' [Bayhaqi in Shuab al Eiman] The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi waalihi wasalam) went to the companions and recited Surah ar Rahman but they were all quiet. He told them that he went to the jinn and recited it to them and they were responsive. And when he would recite the verses 'And which of the favours of the Lord will you deny' the jinn would respond 'There is nothing among your bounties that we can deny, all praise belong to Allah' [Tirmidhi, Ibn al Mundhir, Al Adhama & Hakim 2/474]
