Bud Osborne (July 20, 1884 – February 2, 1964) was an American film actor. He appeared in more than 600 films and television programs between 1912 and 1963.
Osborne was born in Knox County, Texas, and died in Hollywood, California from a heart attack. Osborne specialized in westerns, and was also noted for his skill as a stage driver, and was thus much in demand from his first film in 1912, right through the early 1950s. He was working as a stunt man as late as 1948, in Ray Enright's Return of the Bad Men.
As he grew older, Osborne played small character parts in television westerns such series as Have Gun – Will Travel, Bonanza, Bat Masterson, Rawhide and The Lone Ranger. His last role, was in an episode of Gunsmoke in 1963. His career spanned 51 years, with a total of 607 films and television episodes to his credit.
Bud Osborn (4 August 1947 – 6 May 2014) was a poet, community organizer, and activist in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Following his prolonged struggle with heroin addiction and alcohol dependency, Osborn became a founding member of the Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users and advocated for the creation of a legal supervised injection site. His poetry commented on poverty and homelessness in Vancouver.
Osborn was born as Walton Homer Osborn III in Battle Creek, Michigan to Patricia Osborn (née Barnes) and Walton Homer Osborn II. He spent his childhood in Toledo, Ohio, where his father, who had been a pilot and German prisoner in World War II, was a reporter for the Toledo Blade. Walton Osborn committed suicide when Bud Osborn was three years old. His mother, who also served in the US military, reportedly married seven times. As a child Osborn saw her get raped by a stranger whom she brought home from a drinking establishment. At 15, he attempted suicide by taking Aspirin.
Osborn remarked that he was an athlete in high school. It was there that he began to read and write poetry. He entered Ohio Northern University but dropped out after two years. He married and had a son. They moved to his wife's hometown, the New York city, but the marriage failed. He started using hard drugs. In 1969 he left the U.S. and moved with his family to Toronto in order to avoid draft for the Vietnam War, His wife Julie and son Aeron later left for Oregon. He would be estranged from his son Aeron for three decades. In 1970 he published his first chapbook of poetry by the Toronto Coach House Press.
Victor Adamson (born Albert Victor Adamson; January 4, 1890 – November 9, 1972) was an American director, producer, screenwriter, and actor most famous for directing and starring in B and Z grade westerns in the early days of motion pictures. Adamson often used pseudonyms to credit himself, most often using the name Denver Dixon. His son, Al Adamson, would later follow his father in producing B movies during the 1960s and 1970s.
Adamson was born in Kansas City, Missouri. His family moved early in his life to Auckland, New Zealand, where he spent most of his youth. In the late 1910s, he returned to the United States with a home-produced movie and managed to find a distributor. He decided to continue making his own movies despite a lack of early success with his films.
Adamson began producing films around 1920. He called his production company Art Mix Productions and named himself the star. Adamson, however, found himself increasingly drawn to work behind the camera. He hired actor George Kesterson to act in his films using the Art Mix moniker, a name that Kesterson used for the rest of his career.

Poet and activist Bud Osborn's performance in Vancouver, Canada during the introduction of the documentary film Down Here
Hundred Block Rock (3:35) was made in 1999. Nigel Hunt was the director/videographer, Don Flatt was the editor, and Lincoln Clarkes assisted. It was screened at the Vancouver Videopoem Festival in 2000, organized by Heather Haley. The video features the poetry of Bud Osborn from a recording off of the Hundred Block Rock CD. Poet Bud Osborn recorded the album with Mecca Normal guitarist David Lester and bassist Wendy Atkinson. They toured the album in Canada. The album examines life in Canada's poorest neighbourhood, the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver -- it is a challenging work that matches Osborn's forthright style with raw, urgent music. The album was recorded and engineered by Dan Kronemann, and Alan Twigg was the executive producer. Bud Osborn died in 2014. BUD OSBORN: "I've always l...
