A low over the Gulf of Carpenteria is generating rain and storms in northwest QLD and eastern NT, leading to flooding. Troughs over tropical QLD, SA and WA are also triggering storms. Onshore winds are bringing showers to the east coast. High pressure is keeping it dry elsewhere.
