    Getting stresses? Stop multi-tasking. We're not very good at it - especially when it comes to writing. Turn them all off.

    Part-time PhD and off-campus PhD. You need to make sure you don't get forgotten. Have regular meetings (can be Skype). Come onto campus. Attend seminars when you can. It's easy to get isolated so try to stay involved.
