Aisha is a 2010 Indian romantic comedy film directed by Rajshree Ojha, starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the lead roles and Cyrus Sahukar, Arunoday Singh, Ira Dubey and Amrita Puri in supporting roles. It is set in the upper class society of Delhi, India and is an adaptation of Jane Austen's 1815 novel Emma with the same tone as the 1995 cult Hollywood film Clueless which is also an adaptation of Austen's novel. The choreography of this film was done by Neerav Bavlecha.
The film released on 6 August 2010, to a moderate critical response, eventually becoming an "average" grosser at the box office.
Aisha (Sonam Kapoor) is a girl who believes she is perfectly suited for match-making – amongst her friends in particular. She is constantly criticized by her friend/neighbor Arjun (Abhay Deol) who advises her to stop meddling with others lives. She is unperturbed and carries on. She tries to make a match between her small town friend Shefali (Amrita Puri) and one of her friend's, a well to do sweet shop owner Randhir (Cyrus Sahukar). Aisha creates various circumstances to make Shefali and Randhir fall in love. On one such circumstance, she meets her aunt's step-son Dhruv Singh (Arunoday Singh). In the mean time, Arjun introduces to Aisha and her friends, one of his work colleagues Aarti Menon (Lisa Haydon) from New York. Aisha constantly gets annoyed by the presence of Aarti.

Plot: 'David' tells the story of Daud, an eleven year old religious Muslim boy growing up in Brooklyn. Concealing his Muslim identity, Daud inadvertently befriends a group of Jewish boys who through a haphazard sequence of events mistake him for being Jewish and accept him as one of their own. A genuine bond of friendship is formed between Daud and Yoav, on of the Jewish boys; Daud experiences a sense of freedom, joy, and camaraderie that he has never felt before, and for a brief time enjoys being a carefree eleven year old Brooklyn boy.
