    Beware: Educational progressives back to Marx, Dewey, DuBois, Freire, Lorde, hooks make the 19th c industrial argument to valid and pointed purpose. DeVos and for-profits misuse it for very different ends.

    Yes! That looks familiar! It is the 4th photo that pops up in a Google image search for "classroom stock photo!" Doesn't look like many of my kid's real public high school classrooms, though. Or my own actual classrooms at my public college. BETSY, YOU ARE NOT CATHY DAVIDSON.

    is not about the technology - - using lots of tech, but the main point is about participation in dialog, that students can participate in MAKING not just RECEIVING knowledge... but tech is just a tool that supports this
