Among the Best

Three UNH graduate students received Outstanding Student Paper Awards at the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting in December.

Clarice Perryman, a Ph.D. student in the Natural Resources and Earth Systems Science program, Elizabeth Weidner, a Ph.D. student in oceanography, and Scott Loranger, also a Ph.D. student in oceanography, received the recognition. It’s the second time in three years that multiple UNH students have received these awards.

Diversity Workshop with Dr. Teresa Redd

The Graduate School at the University of New Hampshire is committed to providing comprehensive programming that augments your academic course of study. We offer programs to provide you with the knowledge and skills essential to being a professional either in or out of academia. In February, we will be offering a diversity workshop led by Dr. Teresa Redd from Howard University, who will teach students about how to model culturally responsive behavior, how to motivate students to create a culture of inclusion, and establish norms for civil discourse.

  • March 1: Priority deadline for receipt of FAFSA by the federal processor for application for need-based financial aid for 2018-19 through the Financial Aid Office
  • March 12-16: Spring Recess - NO CLASSES - UNH offices OPEN
  • March 19: Last day to file Intent-to-Graduate for May 2018 graduation without paying a $25 filing fee
  • March 26: Registration for all summer terms begin
