Platform Artists Group Inc. was established in 1990 as a not-for-profit public art organisation dedicated to delivering a program of contemporary art in Melbourne's CBD.
As Melbourne's longest running Artist-Run Initiative and on-going public art project, Platform operates a project-based program, including the billboard on the exterior of the Hero Building, 118 Russell Street, Melbourne.
The organisation supports current contemporary art practices and provides opportunities for artists to engage with broader audiences through exhibitions, projects, events and programs in innovative and public contexts.
